These are beneficial for the free traffic to your website and the increased number of links to your site which help improve your search engine rankings. Even better are specialized real estate niche directories. Most of real estate directories are free or cost less than 20 dollars for a listing.

Building links from real estate directories should be an important part of your overall web marketing efforts. Where possible, find niche directories that specialize in your industry or, if it a general directory, be sure to list your website under the most appropriate category.
