Real Estate Professionals have REAL capacity and Leverage to foster creation of positive change in the world.
The premise is that REALTORS are and have always been the natural "Connectors" within their communities. They tend to know people who know people and can make things happen through this leverage - Things that other mortals only dream about happening.
This is a CALL TO ACTION!
I believe that Real Estate Professionals have the capacity and influence to effect POWERFUL and POSITIVE change in all of the places the politicians are failing . . . ON THE GROUND . . . in LOCAL markets.
This lens is a challenge to all REALTORS to declare their "power" and stick their necks out there and "cause" all the other silly humans to begin cooperating enough to save us from the economic mess we're in . . . and while we're at it . . . Let's handle all of the rest world's problems!

Often, this might simply mean being the quintessential Real Estate Professional - Helping folks find the right house for their families. It also carries with a somewhat heavier burden.
Be a relentless seeker of ways you can help/serve.
Who in your community needs?
What do they need?
How can you coordinate the fulfillment of that need?
DO NOT look to the government to fix everyone's woes . . . There is NOTHING that we cannot solve within our own communities.
The resources are HERE within your reach.
Your mission is to get yourself intertwined into the community well enough that you know who to call when something is needed.
The people are there and are willing to help. they have the resources - Your challenge is to bring those resources to bear in the most efficient way.
You cannot wait for anyone else to volunteer their time, energy, money, attention . . . There are things to be done, and most people will stand idly by and comment on the "misfortunes" they see . . . and then continue on their comfortable way . . .
It's time to awaken your passion and your love of people. Isn't that why you got in this business in the first place?
Here's a secret . . . Follow this passion and focus ALL of your attention on building your community, and you will achieve an INSANE level of success in your real estate career.
Why sell more houses?
Other than more money in your pocket?
It keeps the the economy flowing.
Aren't you interested in strengthening the economy?
Don't you realize that we REALTORS actually have the capacity to save the economy?
When you watch the news, how focused are the experts on Home Sales?
VERY FOCUSED - Right?
Hmmmm . . . Get more houses sold and more money flows . . . creates more jobs . . . improves the communities . . . Sounds like a pretty easy "economic recovery plan".
What about the values?

WHAT ABOUT THE VALUES!
I'm SO much less concerned about the values than I am about stimulating the economy and reducing the inventory of available homes.
If you are anywhere NEAR as passionate about this as I am - I invite you to join me for this journey.
I truly DO believe that we REALTORS can effect a TREMENDOUS impact on our society as a whole.
We have before us an opportunity to create significant change without having to deal with cumbersome legislative and partisan politics . . . We don't need the political process to clean up this mess . . .
I think that's how we got into this mess in the first place - We went to sleep and let the government run our country . . . It's time for us to step up and own our own responsibility to health of our society/community.
SO . . . QUIT your silly marketing and get out there and do some good.
