ROMANS 5:8 NLT
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."

God has proven His love for you. So don't doubt it.

What proves that God loves you more than you love yourself? He died in
your place -- suffering the punishment for sin that you deserved, so you
could go free. God was more willing to suffer Himself than to see you
suffer.

Of course, the devil constantly tries to get you to doubt that God loves
you. That's why you must rely on what the Bible says
-- not what your feelings or circumstances may tell you.

You may think you don't love yourself -- maybe you think you hate
yourself. Even if you don't think too highly of what you have done, you
still love yourself in the sense that you desire the best for yourself.
You don't desire pain or loss.

So it is with God -- He desires good for you -- even more than you do.
And He demonstrated at Calvary that He would put your interest before
His own.

1 JOHN 4:16 NKJ
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.
God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

There are at least two reasons why God loves you so much.
First, it is His nature to love. The Bible says that God is love. Love
is the word that best describes God's nature.

Second, you are His creation. God loves you just as good earthly parents
love their offspring. People may not seem very special to others, but to
their mother and father they are always special. This should help you
understand how God could really like you -- even though you may not like
yourself very much.

Also, God sees you as you can be and will become -- not just as you are
now. God has faith in you and in His ability to make you someone
special.

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God's special woman or man.

You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.

You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!

28 For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. 29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God's Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise[d] from God, not from people.

A letter written to a man on death row by the Father of the man whom the man on death row had killed:

You are probably surprised that I, of all people, am writing a letter to you, but I ask you to read it in its entirety and consider its request seriously. As the Father of the man whom you took part in murdering, I have something very important to say to you.

I forgive you. With all my heart, I forgive you. I realize it may be hard for you to believe, but I really do. At your trial, when you confessed to your part in the events that cost my Son his life and asked for my forgiveness, I immediately granted you that forgiving love from my heart. I can only hope you believe me and will accept my forgiveness.

But this is not all I have to say to you. I want to make you an offer -- I want you to become my adopted child. You see, my Son who died was my only child, and I now want to share my life with you and leave my riches to you. This may not make sense to you or anyone else, but I believe you are worth the offer. I have arranged matters so that if you will receive my offer of forgiveness, not only will you be pardoned for your crime, but you also will be set free from your imprisonment, and your sentence of death will be dismissed. At that point, you will become my adopted child and heir to all my riches.

I realize this is a risky offer for me to make to you -- you might be tempted to reject my offer completely -- but I make it to you without reservation.

Also, I realize it may seem foolish to make such an offer to one who cost my Son his life, but I now have a great love and an unchangeable forgiveness in my heart for you.

Finally, you may be concerned that once you accept my offer you may do something to cause you to be denied your rights as an heir to my wealth. Nothing could be further from the truth. If I can forgive you for your part in my Son's death, I can forgive you for anything. I know you never will be perfect, but you do not have to be perfect to receive my offer. Besides, I believe that once you have accepted my offer and begin to experience the riches that will come to you from me, that your primary (though not always) response will be gratitude and loyalty.

Some would call me foolish for my offer to you, but I wish for you to call me your Father.

I'm often reminded by listening to preachers saying that " the devil is a liar ", and that is so true, he also believes his own lies. The reality of life is in the absolute truth of Gods word to guide us in life, and the devil has convince himself of his own lies and has made it his eternal mission to convince man likewise. Every human being ( even Jesus Himself ) on earth is subjected to the wiles of satan to convince us of his lies. "Getting Real" with our present situation and bringing it before God through humility and repentance, confessing total dependance on Him and not on our strength is the way to flush out any lingering influence of the devils attacks on us daily. By "Getting Real" with God will allow Him to supernaturally intervene in our christian walk daily, our ability to be a blessing to others is depended on it. David got real with God when he cried out to God to cleanse and renew him from the sin he was in ( Ps. 51:10-12 ), Jacob got real with God when he cried out to God to bless him when he was already a wealthy man ( Gen.32:24-28 ), he realized that true blessing does not come about through deception, Jonah got real with God when he cried desperately out to God to help him after realising that Gods calling on him is not based on his prejudices and cannot be manipulated ( Jonah 2:2ff ), Peter got real with God when he cried out to God to save him from sinking ( Matt 14:30 ), being zealous and with good intentions, doing good is not good enough and Peter got real with God when he learned to take the focus off from him and put it on God, and on Him only. Getting Real with God will help us not to define our relationship with Him through religious activity and to avoid living a life of hypocrisy. David, Jacob, Jonah and Peter became a blessing and great influence to others as a result of " Getting Real " with God, we too can be a tremendous blessing to others in our Christian walk through a daily dosage of being real with God and let His presence lead us.
