Top 10 Reason's I Can't (or won't) Get A Real Job
This is for all those people out there that need to ask me on a somewhat regular basis why I don't work outside of the home. Or the new acquaintance that will ask "So, where do you work". As in, I MUST work some place other than the home or the horrible, frightful virmicious kanids (Thank you, Willy Wonka) will swoop down upon me and plant a large red sticker on my forehead titled "hickish housewife". I certainly must not have any redeaming qualities if I don't dress in a black stylish business suit, fire up my SUV and not return home until after rush hour five days a week.
This is for you. Mystery solved.
The Top 10 (I'm sure there's more)
9. There would be no one to tell the 15 year old "no" when he calls from school in the middle of the day to ask if 10 of his closet friends can come over after school
8. Who would cook, clean, do the laundry, bathe and clip the dogs, organise the schedules, make the appointments, pack the lunches, scrub the bathroom, make the beds, do the dishes etc etc etc?
7. No one would be here to pick up the child with severe allergies when they call from school saying he has a fever of 101.
6. There would be no one to pick up the other child with allergies and severe over-pronation of the feet when the school calls to say he won't stop sneezing and he's walking on his knees.
5. I don't have enough gas in my car.
4. There wouldn't be anyone for my husband to talk to any of the 5 times he calls home from work everyday, this causes confusion.
3. No one to take the 2 kids with allergies for shots every week. Or any of their other numerous appointments. Unless you'd like to volunteer?
2. The 15 year old wouldn't have a ride to the 5,672 marching band, concert band, jazz events he's required to attend.
and the number 1 reason I don't get a real job is:
1. I'm to tired to fill out the application.
