For example, if you need a total of 600 sv, you will need to have 400 sv in your right leg and 200 sv in your left leg. If you have 1200 sv in one leg and only 100 in the other leg, you will not receive a check until the volume in the weaker leg reaches enough volume to create a check.

Another way an internet business may be structured is as a forced matrix. This structure is restricted to a certain number of columns and when the maximum number is reached, the very next person who enrolls will be forced to be placed under another person. Forced matrixes creates lots of spillover but the downside is that the enroller chooses where to place the new person. It may or may not be under you, which will affect your residual income.

Then there's the multilevel structure where you can build your internet business as wide or as deep as the company will allow. If you build too wide then it becomes difficult to help your team because the only person benefiting will be you. Building deep is the most stable way to secure long term income.

This leads to my final business structure which is the Powerline. With this type of structure, there is only one line. Everyone who enrolls others will all go into the same powerline. This not only creates volume, but it also creates income that everyone in the powerline can benefit from. In my opinion, this is the best of all the structures and it will pay everyone a lot quicker than the other business structures.

Regardless of which internet business you join, one of the most important decisions you will make is learning how to make your business work. The quality of your internet marketing training is one of the things that will determine whether your business will succeed or fail.

Find out if you are expected to personally train your new business partners, or is there a system in place to do that for you. The less time that you and your business partners spend training others, means more time on marketing your internet business and increasing your income.

Armed with these types of internet marketing training tools will prepare you for direct response marketing and set you up for success for many years to come. You also want to make sure your internet marketing system can track your marketing campaigns. This way you know which of your marketing efforts are bringing in the most traffic.
