British actress Rebecca Mader stars as feisty anthropologist Charlotte Staples Lewis on the ABC TV series "Lost". Formerly a Ford Model, Ms. Mader's early professional credits included guest appearances and some recurring roles on several American sitcoms, evening dramas and soap operas. They also included roles in a horror film called "Mimic 3: Sentinel", a mystery entitled, "21 Eyes" (also known as "Replay"), a television movie named "Samantha: An American Girl Holiday" and an uncredited role in the 2005 Will Smith/Eva Mendes romantic comedy "Hitch".
More recently, Rebecca Mader has appeared in the movie "The Devil Wears Prada", a 2007 comedic film called "Great World of Sound", and as attorney Alden Tuller in the short-lived FOX network courtroom TV drama "Justice".
Ms. Mader's latest role as the recurring character Charlotte in the fourth, fifth (and now sixth!) seasons of "Lost" has undoubtedly further increased her name and face recognition as a talented and beautiful actress among American television audiences and among other "Lost" fans worldwide. This year (2009), she appears in the movie "Men Who State at Goats", starring (among others) George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges.
