My mom just bought me tofo and a spring roll from the chinese store, which the firm chinese tofo that i make usually has lots of flavor (spicy too), anyways, when i started eating the springroll i notice there was some sort of meat in it and i started freaking out..after flipping out my mom is calling them about it
...it disappointed me, how ignorant and selfish they were to not realize they were putting meat in my vegetarian roll!!
im not sure if i ate any of my friendly animals but im just gonna wait and see if i get sick like the last time.. [my friend dropped bacon in my salad and i got extremely sick].......

Im really disappointed, but it was a mistake, and we all make them..

Hey everyone, it was brought to my attention by www.peta.org (PETA)'People People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' which has written an article about MARS Candy Kills Animals!
Candymaker Mars, Inc. creator of M&M's, Snickers, Twix, Dove, Three Musketeers, Starburst, Skittles, and other candies- funds deadly animal tests, even though there are more reliable human studies and not one of the tests is required by law. WE MUST BOYCOTT THE CANDY UNTIL THEY STOP THESE DEADLY ANIMAL TESTS!!!

"Mars recently funded a deadly experiment on rats to determine the effects of chocolate ingredients on their blood vessels. Experimenters force-fed the rats by shoving plastic tubes down their throats and then cut open the rats' legs to expose an artery, which was clamped shut to block blood flow. After the experiment, the animals were killed. Mars has also funded cruel experiments in which mice were fed a candy ingredient and forced to swim in a pool of a water mixed with white paint. The mice had to find a hidden platform to avoid drowning, only to be killed and dissected later on. People have been saying "So what, they are just rats!" "I can't give up skittles, so too bad!"
They have a heart too, they would hurt the same amount as a dog would, and you wouldn't let them do that to your dog! Hershey's said no to animal experimenting, so why can't they?!!! You must help stop these deadly animals tests today! Share with your family friends and teachers in school what Mars does, and together if we all boycott these candies we help can end the cruelty to these animals!!!

Importance: Activists from Japan dressed in penguin and polar bear costume stage a protest outside the venue of the U.N. Climate Change Conference yesterday in Bali, Indonesia.

Summary: China is persisted in it's beliefs that the U.S. is the leader in contributing to global warming. Environmental activists labeled the U.S. as well as Saudi Arabia the worst "climate sinners," accusing them of having inadequate policies for climate problems while letting greenhouse gas emissions rise. Activists are saying no country is doing enough. A top climate expert Su Wei for China's gov't attending the U.N. Climate Change Conference, said the job belongs to the wealthy. And it's also unfair to ask developing nations to accept binding emissions cuts and other restrictions being pushed for already industrialized states. He said the U.S. and it's fellow industrial nations have long spewed greenhouse gases into the atmosphere while newly emerging economies have done so for only a few decades. While many experts believe China has surpassed the U.S. as the world's top emitter of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases, Su noted the Chinese population is far bigger and said America's emissions per person are six times higher than in China. China is one of the nearly 190 nations participating in the Dec.3-14 conference, which is intended to launch negotiations on a new climate treaty to replace the 1997 Kyoto Protocol when it expires in 2012. The Kyoto pact, which was rejected by the U.S., commits three dozen industrial countries that signed on to cut emissions by levels over the next five years. One of the factors that led President Bush to reject Kyoto was that it didn't require any cuts by fast-developing countries like China, India, and Brazil.

I've checked out this great informational book from our school library known as 'Polluting For Pleasure' by author Andre Mele born 1949 of Woodstock, New York.

Here's some notes and interesting facts, we as leaders should be aware of to help out!

"Creating nearly as much atmospheric pollution as all of our automobiles and spilling 15 times more oil into our waters than the Exxon Valdez- every year-unregulated powerboats are creating a national diaster.

More than 12 million powerboats registered in the U.S. The average boat is used 20-30 times per season. If every boat in America were used according, there would be more than 240 million boat trips taken a year."

WHAT: SUDAN GOV'T DRAGGING FEET ON DARFUR FORCE; US

Where: Darfur, Sudan

Importance: The United States said Thursday it was "deeply troubled" by the gov't of Sudan's "foot-dragging and obstruction" on a joint UN African Union peacekeeping force for strife-torn Darfur".

Summary: Bush and Kiir (he leader of South Sudan) met to discuss ways to motivate the enforcement of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in
Sudan . The U.S. gov't believesthe government of Sudan's "foot dragging and destruction" can be sped up, while the deployment of forces lags, and political and tactical challenges continue, the genocide continues. As of March the U.S. gov't and Khartoum gov't agreed to join resources to provide shelter, transportation and tools for the peacekeepers. In the meantime, Darfur has claimed the lives of over 300,000 people. These lives were taken by war, famine and disease. Another 2.2 million were left homeless.

Where: JUNGAR QI, China

Importance: Gargantuan 145-ton trucks go along China's open-pit coal mine, poisoning the air and water as while dumping loads into mechanized sorters.
Summary: 24 hours 7 days a week nonstop dusty trains haul out coal to electric power plants and factories in the east, fueling China's increasing growth. Coal is becoming popular again because the of the rise in oil costs. As oil and natural gas prices rise, we are relying on the cheap, black-burning mainstay of the Industrial Revolution. Toxic clouds of mercury and other chemicals from mining are poisoning the air and water far beyond China's borders and polluting the food chain. The explosion of coal comes amid rising alarm over its dire consequences for workers and the environment. An average of 13 Chinese miners die every day in explosions, floods, fires and cave-ins. Attempts to clean up coal have largely not worked. Technology to reduce or cut out carbon dioxide emissions is expensive and years away from widespread commercial use. We must act fast, this may seem like a small problem but it's contributing to a problem of a larger scale-global warming.

Hey everyone! Happy thanksgiving! I hope all is well, and your enjoying some great organic and tofo-turkey and nonanimal food! (Which not supriseingly i know most of you are not!) Well anyways, i just wanted to take a few moments of my time to discuss what thanksgiving day is really about.
It's a traditional North American holiday to give thanks at the conclusion of the harvest season, it normally lasts only for one day to give thanks for the things one has at the end of the harvest season.
It's also time to gather with your family while eating a delicious homemade dinner whether it's a killed and cooked turkey with maybe corn potatoes or tofo turkey vegetable lasgna and vegetarian beans-in which i will be having. That's usually what families have on this day but yours may be different.
The Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Native Americans celebrated the first Thanksgiving together at Plymouth Plantation. I admire them!

What is a veteran?

In the beginning the primary prerequisite to peace of mind is posture.

Yoga is a great way to gain concentration. The power of Yoga is threefold; health, well-being and long life.We are born naked and we're most likely to die naked. Doing yoga makes you more comfortable with yourself. For that reason we must get the best out of our body. Yoga is the cessation of the modifications of the mind. The purpose of the yoga is to recondition the system, both mind and body, and to develop the nervous and glandular systems. Yoga is a method that aims to achieve the maximum results with the minimum expenditure of energy.

Why is it in this world we look in the mirror over and over again. These days theres an average of 6 mirrors in a house. We have one in almost every room. But why? I understand sometimes your appearance defines you the way you dress, your curly hair.. your eyelashes...simple stuff like that but why cant we be REAL. In our world we use too many things that without them your unrecongnizeable. Makeup is taking over....straighteners....all beauty supplies. Save money and stop using it! Be yourself for once. Vanity is being concerned with one's looks. MIRRORS ARE DRIVING US INSANE!

A FEW MOTIVATIONAL WORDS OF GUIDANCE

People, when they think about it know what kind of person they wish to be. What kinds of things they want to do in the future. And it effects your thinking about what type of occupation in life you want to accomplish.

But most people still don't do the right thing. And their actions reflect on other people.

"About 190 million motor vehicles zip along U.S. highways. They help make American life colorful, efficient, and always interesting. But these vehicles produce half the pollution that makes air unhealthy in countless U.S. cities.

The electric car, say engineers, is the answer to automobile pollution. Such a car promises to be cheap and easy to ran. Last year, Popular Science magazine called the General Motors electric car possibly the best-handling and best-performing small car that G.M has ever turned out." But some mechanical improvements remain to be made. Now, for example, an electric car can travel only 50 miles or so before its battery has to be recharged. The big car manufacturers are working to streamline the performance of electric cars. G.M. says it plans to produce an electric car within a few years with a range of 75 miles. The car will also have enough pep to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 8 seconds.

State regulations are also speeding the electric car's development. Around the turn of the century, three states - California, New York, and Massachusetts - will require half a million electric cars altogether to be sold in their states. The goal of the states is to reduce pollution.

The big question now may be not whether, but when, the electric car will become the standard American automobile."

CARTERET ISLANDS

Located in the South Pacific, the Carteret Islands are fighting a losing battle against the ocean. It's estimated the six islands will disappear into the water by 2015. Papua New Guinea plans to relocate the Carteret's 2,000 residents.

But a debate centers on what is causing these islands to disappear: Is global warming to blame, or are the islands sinking into the sea, or have the residents permanently damaged the reefs that help to protect the islands from the ocean?

I've been waiting to write all day. Your not gonna believe what happened this time. Thanks to my new teacher who obviously knows how to get me pissed off i haven't stopped thinking about this. Talk about mad, im furious but i know i must keep my chill after all we are all equal and even tho i dont agree with his opinons, i know that inside i do love the creatures God has me deal with everyday of my school life. I'll start off by saying so everyone who knows me knows im in love with big cats such as tigers, leopards, cheetahs, and so on. Well this igorant guy, who just so happens to be my english teacher made the point he has no feelings for our animal brothers and sisters and believes they have no purpose. He made this whole thing up that disney is ruining our brains with their sad movies like bambi and animals caring when their parents die really don't happen because animals don't understand stuff like that. But also earlier that day he said don't say things that you think and don't have anything to back it up. So does he get that he doesn't know what he's talking about. He doesn't know if an animal doesn't hurt if it's mother gets hunted down by a poacher or whatever. He doesn't have evidence to back it up. But anyways while comparing humans to animals he wrote that the only thing that animals have are feelings, and no they don't communicate with eachother like us humans and they don't interperate things like we do. That's why HE believes we shouldn't treat animals equaly to humans. I mean come on now lets say a human is disabled and doesn't interperate things like he does...what is he gonna treat him like he treats animals... think of him as an animal too...or even say the human doesn't have a purpose?... If that's true i think he's an ignortant savage.

&I know what your thinking....Oh shut up just tell him what you wrote here. But you dont understand im not the only one who doesn't agree with him...pretty much half of my class doesn't but he keeps telling us go ahead agrue with me but we will go on forever because i always know im right and i like to always end the agruement with my last words and make sure you know im right. He even told us if he knows hes not right he will keep agrueing until he finds a way to make whatever he's agrueing about right. All because he's obviously obsessed with being right. I seriously can't handle his selfish opinons...they drive me crazy. But to him his opinons are right and he can't handle anyone with any other opinon than his.

Wtf just because he teaches classes in our school doesn't mean us students can't teach him a little something about life. I mean like we can't even say our opinon without him agrueing with us if he doesn't agrue. Yeah i know really childish. How can you be a teacher and not know how to handle kids? That's what i wanna know. And yes this is only the third day of school and hes driving me nuts, if he can't handle our opinons don't handle our class at all....i'd be glad for a new teacher. But i know if this continues i will soon change my class to a teacher that knows what hes doing.

Okay so your probably thinking 'well it doesn't hurt to just try to get your opinon into his head'. So yeah i guess that's true...you'll never know till you try so i guess next class i'll just have to tell him how i feel and we'll see what he syas hopefully the same doesn't happen with me that happened to the other kids. But as soon as i get everything down in my head that i want to say to him and when i do i'll post another blog on how it goes.

But back to the topic...what im trying to say is like the song 'colors of the wind' he thinks the only people who are people are the people who look and think like him. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger you'll learn things you never knew you never knew.

If you'd like to know about me -Most people know im a vegetarian and care about the future. The world and everything about it interests me. I'm up for world peace and think war is useless. I do lots of after school activities involing helping out the community to make our world a better place. I don't mess around &i hate wasteing time. I wish i didn't have a myspace, but i like to connect with other people like me. I hate drugs more than anything. If you do them i will tell you. I used to think peace pipes were cool, until i learned what weed can do to your life. Marijuana smoke has been found to contain more cancer-causing agents than is found in tobacco smoke. A common bad reaction to marijuana is the "acute panic anxiety reaction." People describe this reaction as an extreme fear of "losing control," which causes panic. I wont hate you for disagreeing but i will get mad if you encourage animal cruelty and feel no purpose of them. I hate soda and i'll refuse to drink it. I drink juice very rarely but you'll must likely found me drinking water all the time. I love to recycle and feel everyone must do this in their spare time. At least do your part before worrying about everyone else. Why not? -You have nothing to lose and your actually benefiting yourself. I blog because it's my hobby, and i want to be heard! I figured out that when writing things down about what goes on makes me feel alot better. I do know i have very high opinons and i wont change if you don't like it. I usely only change for the better. Someday somehow you'll figure out the real me. It'll come to you like a puzzle. I hate messes. They drive me nuts my house is a tornato and having 5 brothers and sisters makes it worst. Having a big family is cool when you meet new people. But sometimes i wish i had more time to be alone. I like people who are always happy, and know how to respect everything in this world. Being grateful is something i always work on. I don't like to wish i had things because most of the time i don't use what i already have. And most people never think that. Well my parents are divorced. I live with my mom. My dad gets me everything, but my mom has to deal with me. I do alot of things but sometimes no one notices. It'd be cool if there was someone more like me. I don't like being mad but i usely only blog when i know there's something wrong. I appreciate life and everything God has put it in. My friends are great, and i am well respected. I stand for what i believe in. If i really like someone and my options were to see them everyday but never talk to them or don't see them at all...i'd not want to see them. It's really random but i was just thinking about it, and that's how i feel.

Drugs mess up your life. Don't even think for one second im EVER gonna do them with you because that just shows me how out of your mind you are. If you really think something like weed calms you down and find that as an excuse i have no respect for you and find you retarted because there's always yoga. &If you disagree with me i don't care what you have to say. I really don't. So do yourself the favor and not waste your time.

I never did them and i most likely never will.

Okay i don't want to send out negative vibes here but i'm so furious of what we have to do as a lab in living enviroment which is way over disgusting. Here we go...... I was just informed we are to dissect a pig in living enviroment. Yes our friendly animal brother or sister creature i asume was killed so we can observe its insides. All i ask is where is the love in this world? How are we to dissect our relative like nothing. I will refuse to do it!!! If the pig died of natural causes, i might reconsider but idk. There are too many ignorant savages of this world who couldn't care less. Every rock tree and creature has a life a spirit...a name.
