Rebelpreneur - A Rebel's Take on Businesses Online

Ever been ripped off? Tired of not being able to do much online except putting up snaps and "Poking" on facebook? Perhaps, you managed to have 100 friends and over on Orkut and Mysace?

I don't know about you, But I am tired of all the non-productive shit that we do online. If I am online, I better do something worth-while.

What is worthy, you might ask?

LEARN AND EARN. That's it. Don't ask me why and how. Just Pretend that you understand everything and nod your head.

I haven't purchased all that bunch of crap that gets sold online to 'Many more money" and " Make Thousands in a Single day". Phullleeeessseeee...Give me a break, pal.

So what gives me the right to yap so much then? Nothing much. I am no guru and my present earnings online is just way beyond the 200$ mark in two years. Cool,eh? All of that for my writing services. Nothing fancy!

I just come with a burning passion to help others, to reach out to people and tell them anything I can to help them reach their goals in life. If only I could make a difference to one person.

My 2 cents about making it BIG in life. Both Online and offline.

Want To Make It Big Online?

Well, Do this then !

Here's the skinny on it. I don't want to sound like a guru now, but I had picked this up from some real good sources:

1. Join Warrior Forum : No, Stop being so lazy, ok? I am not going to provide you a link here. Head over to Google and Type in Warrior Forum. You would be taken to a free membership forum. Sign up.

Now, for the next 30 days, just read up.
Start with " The Best Warrior Threads" first and then crawl all over the place. It is pure gold and it is all free !

2. Realize that if you don't put in anything, you won't get anything. No money? Invest time. No time? What the heck are you doing anyway, ha? There are no free lunches and there is no easy money, whether online or offline.

3. Yes, starting a business online is somewhat cheaper than offline businesses. But then, Online business comes with a steep learning curve. Yo uhave to be prepared to learn it all. There are no short cuts. ta da.

Keep your wallets full, peeps !

The Best Online Businesses Ever...

How about a Bonus? I'll also tell you why!

Often newbies keep wondering as to what the best possible businesses can be. Their thirst for new business ideas has fuelled a frenzy in the Internet market place. However, the answer still remains elusive for most of them seeking for Information.

Here's my take on what the best possible businesses are. I am working on a few of them ( Hey, I am a newbie Myself!)

1. Web-hosting Business: Yeah, I heard you! You are likely to tell me that this market is already saturated. Well, every market is. No market remains open for just a couple of companies. See what happened to Microsoft? Do you realize that the open source revolution and of course the Google god give Microsoft sleepless nights? Sorry about the meandering. Now, I like this business model because it is easy to set it up, reseller packages from most leading web hosting providers take care of everything for you - yes, even the domain names and hosting, the billing, the customer support. So what are you supposed to do? Promote the living bytes out of your site. Promote, encash, promote, encash. You could try some offline advertising and capture the offline market too. In most developing countries, websites are still a mystery...

2. Membership Sites, Clubs, and Forums: Yeah, Saturated, eh? I am bored of hearing the same thing again and again. Everyone likes to be affiliated to clubs or membership sites that have some great content. If you could allow members to join for free until they reach a critical mass and then start charging a nominal recurring fee, you can possibly make good money. The points to remember? _ Great content, superb marketing and possible joint venturing. You could think of any niche you like and start the forum - This business is global, could be promoted offline too.

3. Info Products: Your expertise, experience, knowledge, resourcefulness - All of that can be sold. If you can package these things in a way that can be consumed in a digital form, you are in business. If you start looking at it the global way, the opportunities are simply endless. What say?

4. Affiliate Programs: Selling other's products. Quite a nice way for a beginner to start but then it takes effort, like for everything else. You need to have relevant content and develop a website richly sprinkled with that content. Your affiliate links will adorn your site with the dollar sparkle.

Remember - Keyword rich content (Keyword articles written for the people and not for the search engine gods), good affiliate programs and consistent effort. A little bit of SEO might help you too. What? You don't know what SEO is? Kewl...You know what to do, don't you?

Seek and Learn, my friend.

5. Selling Services: Money makers after the Info products and Membership sites. Ultimate ways to make profits. Depending on your expertise, you have different ways to profit from your services. Whatever skill you might have, you have a market for it. I can bet on that. Think about it...Writing? Researching? Administration? Love for music? Resourcefulness? Wood work? Art? Think, pal, Think.

What you need to know before you can even think of earning Money Online?

Don't even think of skipping this one.

Thanks to Josh Anderson, a member of the Warrior Forum, my views about earning money online have changed. I am a different guy now and I think I have either grown up or put on some weight due to this thing.

I am distubed. I thought I can earn money the easy way, by doing nothing but clicking on emails and reading emails. Nothing happened. My pay pal account remained the same for like 3 years now. The amount? 0 USD.

I listened to some people. I read up a lot online. I spent hours poring over a lot of sales letters that sell the world to you on a mini-site. Your dreams are milked and you will probably click on it to buy. Hell, you would have purchased many thousands of dollars worth of such information only to find your paypal balance just as much as mine. Cool?

Un cool.

I had learnt it well now. Trust me. There are some sources of information that are pure gold. Worth buying even if you did not have any money. The only ones I had ever dared to buy. But then, like someone in the Forum said, ACTION is everything.

if you don't take action, even shitting will be impossible.

I did that. In my own small way. I am no good when it comes to adsense, affiliate marketing, researching on keywords. I don't have the kind of money to buy even the moderately priced ebooks ( Thanks to the difference in rthe Indian currency and the US dollar). I could do just one thing well, write.

Oh yeah, I heard that even this market was competitive. Let competition go to hell. I can't be hungry. So, I started writing. I headed to craigslist. Started sending out proposals to all those posters there and got myself some projects. When they replied with their requirements and asked for samples, I wowed them with my in-your-face-so-full-of-attitude type of writing which sounds like a casual bar talk.

They liked it. I am in business. Some of them did not reply. They will. I am too busy anyway.

I see my paypal balance rising now. I am happy. It feels good to cram so much in a day and be rewarded for it. It feels good to call my own shots and make my own destiny. It feels good to be my own boss.

I would want to live this day forever. I am hoping that it would get you to think about where you are and what you want to do.

The Only Thing That Is Making Money For me

Yeah, I have been searching every bit and byte online for an opportunity I can do. Given the fact that I cam a real moron when it comes to do anything to do with websites and such like. The only thing among all the ideas ever listed out there by a lot of people, I am able to capitalize on my writing.

Yes, that's the only thing that helps me make any money. I had a plum job which I had to leave for focusing on my offline business. That scared the shit out of me and more ever, I had to let go of my very comfortable pay check that I grew up loving. Now, I don't have a pay check.

I had to find an alternative form of Income. I had to get back to my writing big time. Since there had been a long gap, I am presently charging very less than what I used to and that hurts. But then, It takes time to recoup whatever I had lost.

Sorry about the meaningless meandering again. Well, the point is if you are looking for ways to make money, I wish you all the very best. As far as I know, there may be or may not be any such way. But for one, providing your expertise in the form of services is an absolutely great way to get started.

Period.

Stop screwing around with TIME. That is more than money !

The apparent success of social sites like My space and facebook can point to a single conclusion for me - We are screwing our time up. Unncessary poking, pasting shit on the walls and superwalls are making a ball of money for the owners of those sites and you are hardly networking or socializing. If you ever had to add any application on facebook, would would have to send the same application to everyone on your friendslist.

Now, that takes time and you 'd be wasting their time too since they have to do the same. Monumental waste of time.

If only you had invested all that time on learning something valuable like say, web designing, one single freelancing project could have fetched you upwards of 100 USD. Just a drop off the swooshing current of ideas flowing away, right now.

Too many mails, too much of chatting, unnecessary poking, greeting cards - aaargh. How much more time can one screw with?

If you have intentions of making money, meeting people with serious intentions on being successful, you should be spending time on sites like http://www.linkedin.com and http://www.warriorforum

Period.

0 - 1600 $ in one month

Gotcha attention, didn't I?

It isn't so difficult to make that kind of money using the Internet and your skills, after all. Or so I had learnt.

I am still talking about writing ( that's my skill!) and this came about as a pleasant surprise for me. I have an offline business with heavy overheads and I couldn't bear to work at another job. I was left with no option but to fall back on my writing.

So I did.

Starting this year, I had mailed out a cute proposal mail to some of the posters on http;//www.craigslist.org and kept doing that at the rate of about 10 mails per day. Within a week or so I landed a couple of clients. I spend about 6 hours per day working on this one client and I am looking at a billing of about 1600 USD from him alone. That is just one client.

I can work for 16 hours a day and writing is something I love doing.

So I have another 10 hours a day out of which I might lose about 4 hours for my offline business. I am left with another 6 hours and assuming I get another client for the same paying rate and work volumes, I will net another 1600 USD.

Total earnings per month = 3200 USD

I haven't counted the money my off line business makes yet. It is too soon for that.

Howz that for a new year resolution?
