This is a very impressive lens. It showed me many things I did not know and was a very worthwhile read. I wish the best for everyone and I believe with a little help and dedication, things CAN go right.

Africa is of great beauty and if there were no oppression it would be the best place in the world to live. I am going to see what I can do to help on this.

Having been in Africa and seeing what happened in there makes your project very worthwhile and with a program like Criminon the change really happens

Cool, thanks for making such a good lens

Great and very worthwhile lens, and I wish you much success. I recently met two young Rwandans in MI, and they recommended a film: "Shooting Dogs". The young man said it was HIS story, because he escaped the bloodshed by hiding under dead bodies during the attack.
5*, my faves too, & thanks for visiting my lens!

I know about the genocide and what went on there. These people need all the help they can get. This is a great initiative for a country that's been so long on the "ignore" list!

What a great lens! I love that someone is using the internet to spread the word on the more important social problems.

Great project. I volunteer as a tutor for Criminon UK, so I know that this programme works. I also gave a little bit of support to Maryse in the very early days of her Rwanda project. Will think of ways to support you.

Thank you for spreading the word. This IS a great contribution to the project! I've been there,in Rwanda. I've seen it. I have personally talked to many people there who are doing whatever they can to change things for the better. They deserve a hand - and they are very grateful for true help!
  • teenmaterial Oct 13, 2008 @ 11:11 am | delete
Wow Great lens, I must say I don't really know a lot about Rwanda but it sure looks like a great project. The world can use some change for sure.
Wishing you the best of luck with your project.

I have met a couple of people wonderfull people from Rwanda, but I need to admit, that I didn't really know what is going on in that country. This project is great and shows that there are still people in this world who want to help others.
  • Dustin Oct 10, 2008 @ 10:12 pm | delete
I'm a little ashamed to admit that I don't follow world events well enough to have already known about the genocide stigma associated with Rwanda. This sounds like a great project and it'll be interesting to see how this thing grows!

This is great and definitely something that's needed in Rwanda. I can imagine the devastation these people went through. I'd like to help in whatever way possible to get this off the ground.
