Receptive Marketing

The term that I have coined, "Receptive Marketing" is something that I have come up with from my internet marketing toils. The term 'toils' was used because my road here has not been smooth and easy by any stretch of the imagination. As we all have and will encounter, the many stumbling blocks and learning curves associated with internet marketing can humble and even break down the mightiest of men.

Receptive marketing helps us see things like when we all see the low-priced ebook that's supposed to tell you how to become an overnight success without lifting a finger. Didn't happen did it..?? What about the PPC course that promises you are going to finally "Kick Google's A$$"... You order it, pay for it, get it home, and.. Nothing, It didn't work either. You didn't stop there either you continued to buy programs and ebooks and probably still do. We know this internet marketing "thing" can happen, but what do we have to do to ensure success??

I can empathize with those who are frustrated and want to just quit!

Before we let that happen let's take a step back, pause, stop everything you're currently doing in terms of your internet marketing endeavors. The break and change of pace and scenery will help you right away.

We now need to ask ourselves why we wanted to even start an online business or look to make money online?? What are some of your goals.. financially? socially? networking? Do you just want to generate some money or do you want to meet more people like you who do the things you like to do. Everybody has their own reasons for being here, but whatever reason yours may be to be here, just make sure you are completely honest with yourself and where you want to be.

A lot of problems that most internet marketers fail to realize is that receptive marketing can make or break your business, no matter what business you have. Most people are going about it the wrong way. Many are using outdated tactics that just don't work in Today's markets. With millions of people and businesses flocking to the internet for search information,shopping,advice, and just about anything else, businesses are starting to see the overall importance of internet marketing. Internet marketing is awesome because "little guys" can and ARE competing with the "big boys". As advertising and marketing venues such as newspapers, magazines, radio and billboards feel the squeeze from internet marketing success businesses have come to the internet to snatch up potential customers. With companies closing and laying people off at will, there are thousands of people looking to the internet each and everyday to find a way to make money whether it's online or offline.

Receptive Marketing is a way of marketing that helps individuals as well as companies stand out amongst the sea of competition so customers find exacly what they are looking for. I'm not going to go into too much detail here about receptive marketing but it involves e-mail marketing, PPC marketing, social networking/marketing, and other areas that will be touched on later.

Stay Tuned,

Receptive Marketing feat. Twitter

Receptive Marketing = Twitter

Social media is becoming an undeniable phenomenon and people everywhere are taking notice. While most 'big' corporations still haven't grasped the complete usefulness of sites like Twitter, the smaller business owners haven't had many other options. With finances being an issue for many, free and low cost marketing has become paramount. Social media platforms are usually free to join and use and the sheer power this machine provides has propelled many marketers to new heights.

Receptive marketing involves using social media and it's awesome viral marketing force to your advantage when marketing. You see if you are using social media correctly then you should be building relationships while providing value to your friends and customers. Through your interaction with your following they learn to value and trust in your ideas and thoughts. You can then use this relationship to help people in whatever way you can-spiritually, financially, and emotionally, if need be. Through receptive marketing you can provide the valuable content your customers want and need without coming across as a "spammer" or a nuisance.
Receptive marketing incorporates some principles of attraction marketing and passive marketing while remaining to be one of the most new wave techniques to come on the scene.
  • 5 Reasons Receptive Marketing Works
    -------------------------------------------------
    ==>You Provide Value
    ==>You Build Lasting Relationships
    ==>You Market, But You Don't
    ==>You Make Others Want What You Know
    ==>You Stand Out As A Leader

Receptive Marketing feat. Facebook

Receptive Marketing = Facebook

Facebook is another powerful tool when it comes to receptive marketing. This social platform is making waves and people have taken notice pushing it's ranks to over 220 milliion worldwide!! What if you could reach a fraction of that number without being an annoyance and build your brand at the same time. Using the 'groups' section at Facebook is a superb way to use receptive marketing to help you get people in your marketing funnel. Of course there will be tons of people starting tons of groups so the trick will be to stand out from the masses. Receptive marketing helps you seperate yourself from the pack because you are not selling you are more like omnipresently around to help those who might need what you have.

When people are around you, or even hear your message they can feel comfortable knowing that your message will benefit them in some type of way. They don't get the feeling that is felt when you are approached by a pushy salesman. Our marketing efforts are designed to encourage 'stealthlike' results with all parties involved happy with the final results.

Receptive Marketing

Receptive Marketing on EBay

I, personally was excited about this section because EBay is an excellent source for receptive marketing. Most people are using the site the wrong way... I am a lead generation fan and auctions help me in that way. I have been compiling a PDF concerning the use of EBay for lead generation and generating sales. You see the major thing that seperates EBay from other sites is that they have hungry BUYERS that flock to the site with money practically in hand. I will update this lens and my Twitter status about the PDF report and when it will be available. UPDATE: Report now available at http://www.changagorham.com/EbayLG or at:
