This is an important subject that many people take for granted or don't spend much time thinking about. I especially like how you bring an international perspective to it. You also did a good job showing how a lack of physical activity will affect children later in life, both with their health and social skills. Well done!

My fondest schoolyard memories are of playing "Red Rover" and "Rattlesnake"... so very, very long ago... I loved reading this lens.

My friends and I loved to make up all kinds of random games. We had several types of tag that we played including line tag (using a four square thing) and TV tag (with variations like you could only say shows that were on Disney or Nickelodeon, or cartoons only). One friend and I even had a game we called "leaves blowing in the wind", it entailed us pretending we were leaves blowing in the wind, twirling around the playground, even into the middle of people's soccer games and such, it was tons of fun! Oh, that same friend and I had a game called "follow the crack" we walked around the playground stepping only on the cracks in the asphalt. I was a strange child, but as an adult I'm told I have an amazing imagination.

I loved playing ball games with friends either in a circle or off a brick wall. Also enjoyed tetherball in a smaller school, and jumping rope. Clapping games were fun even on the school bus, or waiting in line ...
