Are You Recession Proof? You Better Hope So!

No, I'm not a presidential candidate or hopeful, but it doesn't require a high education to recognize and feel the effect of the recession we are edging closer and closer to. Gas prices are something I don't even have to mention-they're outrageous whether you live in San Diego, California, like me, or in Boston, Massachusetts, and anywhere else in between. Some other daily necessities like food are rising in price at the local supermarkets. There is not a day where I go to my grandparents' house to visit where I hear about how $100 used to get them a month's supply of groceries. Obviously the times have changed, but even a young person like me has seen the change. The point I'm trying to make is that the cost of living is starting to outweigh many of our incomes and it is up to us to offset it by earning supplementary income. Even if you still have your head above water, it may not be enough to take a few days off of work, quit the 9-5 scheduled lifestyle and channel that time into family time with the kids, the husband or wife, family, friends, traveling, or that other activity that you find special.

It really is. We are in a dramatic shift in the area of marketing. Network marketing no longer means going out and trying to recruit friends, family, or anyone else who will take the bait. It doesn't mean stockpiling boxes and boxes of product in your garage or bedroom because you're signed up for auto-ship. It actually eliminates the pitching, selling, closing, phone calls and general customer service that is tiresome, bothersome and usually fruitless. The new wave is internet marketing. Over the past decade, the internet has grown up around us and whether you have embraced it or not, the effect its had on everyone's lives is undeniable. The internet IS the present and will ALWAYS be the future, encompassing every aspect of life and, luckily for those who choose to act and get involved in these revolutionary new business opportunities, there are literally fortunes to be made. Whether you are looking for a fortune or just a little extra cash to restore your piece of mind during hard times, the glory is that it is what you make it. It is that freedom of working for yourself, putting in the time for yourself and reaping the rewards of that time all for yourself.

With that kind of income you can say goodbye to anxiety brought on by the outrageous gas prices, the rising food prices and the housing market left in ruin. With a recession-proof business system, the worries that a majority of the population have won't even be on your mind. Of course I'll always think that $5 for a gallon of gas is ridiculous when I'm filling up my tank, but knowing that it isn't breaking my piggy bank is a completely different feeling altogether and a very sweet one!

The internet, to those who are unfamiliar, can be a scary place to dive into because of its reputation, but believe me, if I can do it, then so can anybody else. It is in its prime; it is moving forward at revolutionary speeds and soon it may be so far gone that it is unattainable to those who got left behind. I learned that you can't wait forever, pondering the pros and cons over and over again because the time spent doing so is time lost and we all know time is money. In this business, every day has its potential earnings and to have "paralysis by analysis" is nothing more than a debt. Not to mention the time that is wasted working for someone else in the rat race. This coincides with one of my favorite quotes:
There are a million ways to lose a work day, but not even a single way to get one back.

Imagine yourself having enough money to do as you please, not having to worry and stress over your finances, your occupation, your time or the economy around you. Wouldn't that be nice? It is too cliché to say how short life can be when it is not one fulfilled, but they are clichés for a reason.
Fulfillment is a personal preference but financial freedom is a universal necessity.

In the business arena, I like to have positive, motivated and dedicated people with a real vision of what they want in their lives all around me. They must have the capacity to channel all this emotion, energy and motivation to see results. I look at it as the more people I have around me with all these amazing qualities, the more powerful our individual as well as group aura will be. Positive energy is a necessity in this business and we will all do better and succeed if we all share a collective drive for success.
