Having Problems Talking to a Record Label A&R? This Is Your Tool to Getting a Record Deal

Looking to talk to a record label A&R? Are you striving to become the next big superstar? If you know anything about record labels, you know that you need to talk to an A&R in order to get signed. If you are experiencing problems in getting to talk to a major contact at a major label, you have come to the right page. I will show you how you can actually talk to a record label A&R in hours.

Why is it so hard to talk to a major record label A&R rep?

Imagine being bombarded everyday by artists that claim they are the next big star. Major record label A&R reps get over 200 packages a week from artists. A lot of times they don't even listen to the cd. They just throw them in a pile. I've seen it with my own eyes. This happens because 90% of the artists they have listened have been terrible. And now it it is sooo easy to create your own music nowadays...these reps get flooded with wanna-bees! So what a lot of the reps do now, is just listen to people who were referred to the them by managers, lawyers, or people they actually know that will give them music because they value their opinion more. Unless you have a big time manager or a high level lawyer that have legitimate contacts with major labels, it will be 3 times harder for you to speak to an A&R rep. I found the service that GUARANTEES that you speak personally to the A&R rep.

Yeah, I believe that they don't listen to them all. How could they? I'm sure they have been especially bombarded with demo tapes since shows like American Idol and America's Got Talent were started. There are some online methods like what www.Mo4Beats.com has done that people could use as a model if they like. Good luck to you!

My son and his friend started a band about 2 to 3 years ago. They work very hard and have a Webpage that people are responding to greatly. They are very talented and have come very far with other artists wanting to do collabs with them, etc. They write the lyrics, beats and are amazing. I may be prejudice because he is my son & his friend too. However, I have neighbors, etc. that hate rap/r&b music BUT THEY LOVED THEIR MUSIC (even with some cursing and hard stuff). People continue to listen, dance, etc. and these are people I felt would not even listen. They are called the 502 Boyz and I hope you check them out on their site or pick them up. My son is Third Strike and his friend is Misfit. Everything is done just out of a bedroom and they sound great! I can not imagine if they got any recording studio time, etc. Please listen and help get the word out about them. I would hate to see their talent not out there for others to enjoy too. A mother asking for help, please. Thx.

Hi Mary, check out www.alleyesentertainment.com. I worked with these folks personally and they work for the major labels. Your son can get his band's music reviewed and possibly get a record deal if the A&R likes his music. It is a fee of course, but I think it's the best way to get advice from the actual label if that's what your son wants to do. It sounds like to me he has some great potential.
