How to recover your wireless network key

These instructions assume you have at least one computer that is able to connect to your wireless. That is important because we are going to recover the key from that computer so you can set it up on another computer.


Boot up your working computer and get it on the internet.

When it asks you press RUN or OPEN. The file should open and show you a list of files. Locate the wzcook file which may be under the "bin" folder.

double click on the wzcook file which should open a screen like that has a bunch of numbers.



Once that screen closes then open the file c:\wepkeys.txt



In that file you will have your access point name followed buy a bunch of letters and numbers. Your wireless key ends when the 000's start.

Take those and give them to your friend to get on your wireless.
