Why recycle Christmas cards?

Be thrift, be creative, be environmental friendly

Have you ever felt difficult to part with beautiful Christmas cards or any other greeting cards once the holidays are over? It's kind of a waste, isn't it? Not only we are wasting the earth's resources, because cards are printed on papers made from chopping down numerous trees, it's as if we are throwing away the nice wishes and thoughts from the sender.

So, instead of ending the lives of those Christmas cards in the paper bins, why not stop the waste, recycle old Christmas cards, remake them into fabulous crafts to give them a new breath of life?

If you learn how to recycle old Christmas cards or greeting cards into beautiful ornaments, favors, tags, table decorations and other types of little gifts, you'll be able to save yourself a lot of money from buying those stuffs again. Even better, sell your recycled card crafts at craft fairs and markets, school fetes, fund-raising event or bazaars and start making money from this hobby.

Recycling Christmas Cards Review

Almost like love-at-first-sight...

I bought Recycling Christmas Cards without giving it much thought. I admit that I was deeply attracted to the nice ebook cover and images the first time I saw it at Anni's website. The price of the ebook did not cost me a fortune either. It is at an affordable $20, but the ideas presented in the ebook can be used over and over again, year after year.

What can I say, Anni is really a talented and experienced designer. Her recycled Christmas cards craft ideas are simply brilliant. Her ideas are not complicated, in fact some are rather simple. However it had never occurred to me that one can recycle Christmas cards into beautiful crafts with so many ways!

And I love looking at the photos in her ebook. Those photos are colorful, sharp and clear. They are really nice to look at. You'll get a very clear idea of what the end product will look like if you were to make one.

Really, looking at those little gifts, tags, boxes and all sorts of craft items made from used Christmas cards will definitely take one through Christmas all over again! :)

In the Recycling Christmas Cards ebook, Anni provided 50 craft ideas to recycle used Christmas cards. You can also apply those ideas to any other greeting cards or using other types of paper or cardstock. Out of the 50, templates for 40 of the projects were given to help one create the items more easily. Anni also listed out the necessary tools needed to get you started.

While most of the projects in the ebook are very easy to make (where you can get your kids to participate, too), a couple of them are a little bit tricky. But no worries, that just means a little bit more of cutting and pasting to do. :)

The craft items made from used Christmas cards, as shown in the Recycling Christmas Cards, are items that you can personally use as little decorations at home, as small souvenirs and gifts for friends, as trays or boxes, gift tags, wrappers, etc.

And you know what? You can actually start selling those items you made and earn some extra cash! Doing something fun, using it to make profit, at the same time preventing wastage and protecting our Earth from being dumped with more rubbish, won't that be great?

If you think it's a good idea to recycle old greeting cards into something 'new' and useful, download a copy of Recycling Christmas Cards today!
