This is a 10 Part serial blog, talking abt Why are we recycling?
I think I know there is a major reason why. Cos whenever I see rubbish and ocean of rubbish...
I hear Michael Jackson singing
: " We are the World, We are the Future,
We will build a better world for YOU and ME..."

Debris and rubbish...
These arent going to be recycled, but will be burnt or buried into the ground. or worst still stay there without clearance for the next century...

A 12 Year Old Child tells the REASON to RECYCLE.
In United Nation, 1992, a Child made a 6 minute speech to United Nation panel about Saving the Environment.
If a Kid 12 year old can do that, what about you?

- Recycle? We are all told to recycle, but maybe we should think about lobbying governments towards the re-use of materials. This is much more tricky. Imagine explaining how to provide almost free housing that can be built by anyone with an active body. A structure that has no recycled or newly made materials. Where is the profit for the big boys! LOL. I have been reading about Mike Reynolds and his "earthships". Please take a look at his website and links to other sites. Keep on recycling, but bare in mind all recycled goods take a lot of energy to make. Build a house from tyres tin cans bottles and mud and there is no cost for the materials at all only labour!
SAVE THE WORLD, USE IT AGAIN!

- I Cried when I read through this lens, I am all for recycling, but I had no idea that people on the other side of the world who have not the faintest idea of how we live have had to put up with this littering of their environment, my efforts will now be redoubled & I shall try to motivate others to help save our Troubled old Mother Earth.
You are a featured lens this week on http://www.squidoo.com/groups/Thirtydaychallenge & I have a feeling this trend will continue as you build the rest of this series-I shall get off my soapbox now!!
