First things first, it looks crooked in that picture. :( I realize this and we are taking new photos and providing them to our real estate agent on Monday. We promise the house is not on an angle or tipping!!!

Let's touch on the good parts of this. The front yard is landscaped with two silver mounds in the front that have not popped out yet in that photo. They have been there for over four years now so grow up beautifully.

I have also created a nicely landscaped front garden. You will find beautiful annuals such as Bleeding Hearts coming out of some Chicks and Hens (really neat!) at least six tiger lilies, pansies, ferns, hostas, and poppies. I also planted some coleus this year as an annual.

Not only are Red Deer modular homes affordable, they come with a yard! Our backyard is the best in the park. As you know, with some trailer parks you can feel smothered by your neighbours. That does not happen in our house!! We overlook a nice little backwoods scene. We have seen up to 8 deer at once while standing on our deck. In the spring we were able to see them five days straight in a row!

The way we are positioned, our backyard does not directly overlook ANYONE ELSE!!! We are able to live like we own a private acre while in a modular home in Red Deer. It is awesome!

Waskasoo Estates is the name of our park. There is a $150 transfer fee when you purchase the home. This transfers the pad information over to you and is completed by the park manager. There are very strict rules to our park and that makes it one of the most desirable parks in Red Deer. One of the most strict rules is the exclusion of all pets. Because the park is managed effectively, we have managed to keep the value of our houses up during the Canadian recession.

There are two sides to the park, a "family side" and an "over 40 side". This house is on the family side although almost all of the neighbours are over 40.

As a resident of Red Deer County, you will have access to the wonderful Chinook's Edge School Division. This division is leading Alberta in classroom support for teacher's. You will also have access to Christian, Catholic and french schools.

We purchased this house just over two and a half years ago. Since that time, we have put a lot of effort, time and money into it. This is a list of the major items we have changed, upgraded or improved.

Why does our house rock compared to the others that are for sale in the same area?

1. We have a garage. Have you ever lived through a Red Deer winter? You may be fighting over the garage so you never have to wipe your windshields off again. Not too mention the additional privacy having a garage in a trailer park adds.

2. The view. We have first class seats to Red Deer nature but are only two minutes from town. Very cool!

3. Our interior is much more updated than anyone else that is currently listed on the market for the same price. We liked the more updated look and put the effort in to get it. Most of the houses still have the existing small brown, fake wood trim. The changes we have made makes our trailer look much more like a home.
