Do Animal Speaks To You?

From the lens Red Fox Totem.

Some of them yes, if connect on some level, there is definitely some sort of unique communication. But sometimes I fell they ignore me. Just like some people...

If the term "speak" were to mean communication in general, then yes, animals do speak to us through their expressive eyes, and their endearing or aggresive body gestures. Perhaps, if we were to sincerely and patiently attempt, we will understand their speech as well - limited in vocabulary though they may be.

Animal Teachings - great video! Thanks for posting it.

I have been blessed with many situations that have lead me to being an animal admirer and advocate. Some of them include interludes with foxes, chickadees, raccoons, wild turkeys, deer, even feral cats.
There is no better feeling than having a chickadee eat out of your hand, or having a mother fox trusting you enough to parade her kits across a meadow knowing you are there watching.

we have a kitten (really she's a full grown cat by now I guess!) who is really bad about getting outside (we're in apts and neighbors not very cat tolerant).... but when he does, and I call Him, I swear he gives me this look, just like my kid. speaks volumes! lol!

Mine is the Wolf. She speaks to me daily.. mostly to say "I love you" and "wake up, I'm hungry" ;) I love his lens. The Red Fox is beautiful.

I enjoyed learning more about the Red Fox Totem. We used to see Fox in the back yard but now we mainly see ground hogs. I don't know what happened to the Fox or maybe they are so sly that we just don't see them.

Beautiful. I love the feel of this lens.

I'd never thought of the red fox in this way - but for many years I've had fox images in rocks and in textiles - it always brought me comfort - intriguing insight and one I'll research further. I think I have a natural "fox nature" too - I like waiting and watching before I 'leap in' anything... Love the resources - Thank you! Sundae ;-)

I like the Red Fox and the Wolf.
Shame the video on "What is your spirit guide?" isn't working.
    Interesting lens! Thanks.

Think I'm a dolphin, or wanna be dolphin :-) or a seagull or a lion else maybe just a happy golden retriever pup! Can't go wrong with any of those, eh? Intrigued by this topic, and really know zilch about it to be honest so maybe it's time I learned ... actually was drawn here by that red fox title and no clue why???

Interesting, this is a topic I'm not really familiar with but I must admit I do see us as part of nature, so it seems worthy of some study.

I was born in the Year of the Horse and I have a very special, emotional affinity with horses, so I would be surprised if my animal toitem was something different!

I have a lens about animal totems. I am very drawn to giraffes this past year. I wish I could have a pet giraffe.

This is an amazing subject that most of us know little of. Very nice lens, 5*****

Ah, so we now see a positive use of the word Foxy for women. We need to reclaim the word!

When I used to have horses I always felt the strongest bonds especially with my beloved Alaska. We made a winning team in the show ring most of the time and I know it was because of our connection.

Fascinating subject. I haven't read the book you referenced (at least not yet) but I've made use of the Jamie Sams Sacred Path cards and workbooks, and I'm reading a lot of Native American writings out of the Dakotas (I bought books at Mt. Rushmore, lots of books, LOL). I don't know what my totem would be, but on my trip to Mt. Rushmore I was blessed by seeing 3 eagles in close proximity. I like to think they were telling me something ... though truly I don't know what.

I liked this lens a lot. 5* and a Fav!

I was born in the moon of the Beaver Totem and I do find the characteristics of this animal match many of my own. My messenger totem is the Deer. It comes to me often when I am struggling with a major decision.

Thank you for the blessing--and in the process I learn we are kindred souls--a real pleasure!!

I added your lens to my lensography so I can refer back more easily!!

My dog speaks to me. I did some surogate ZPoint for him when we put him in the kennel this past week-end - knowing that he probably felt abandoned and confused about being left there. I wanted to reassure him that we would be back and that he would be well taken care of until we came back to get him.
