Red Packet Star Lantern

Instruction

1. First of all, make some marking on the red packet by folding it into half, then press it at the 2 corners as shown in the picture.
   

2. Unfold the red packet and fold into half on the other side as shown. This time, make sure you get a straight line from top to the bottom of the red packet.
   

3. Using the marking on the red packet, fold the 4 corners of the red packet as shown on the pictures below. Make sure you get the front and the back correct. Repeat step 1 to 3 for all 14 red packets.
   

4. Stapler one side of the corner of 2 red packets together as shown in the picture. Make sure that you have stapler 2 bottom of the red packets, not 1 bottom and 1 top. As the red packets were long, I made 3 staple along the folded line to make sure that the red packet do not pop out.
   

5. Stapler 7 bottom of the red packets to make 1 set. Stapler the rest of the red packet to make the second set. You should get something that look like the picture below.
   

6. Stapler the 2 set of red packets together as shown in the picture.
   

7. Make a loop with the string. Stapler the string to one side of the star.
   

8. Your star lantern is completed.
