All I need to do now is decide whether we should choose the standard white wii, the new black wii or the limited edition red wii system.
Also, what type of games should we buy for the wii?
Do we need to purchase accessories?

Reviews of the Wii System
CNET
According to Jeff Bakalar on CNET.com the wii has some pretty good points like it is compatible with all game cube games as well as a built in SD slot for memory cards. On the flip side the graphics are not that great when compared to the XBox 360 and the PS3 and the games available for the system are lacking. He states that the controllers are difficult to learn, are sensitive and eat batteries up.

- i decided to buy a wii for the upcoming zelda game and have settled on the red one. i hope they dont make a limited edition gold wii with skyward sword now that im buying the red one.

- Oh man, if they did come up with a Zelda theme one, I'd probably end up purchasing it because my son is super into Zelda - has the graphic novels and every game - even wants the old original ones. (he is 10) We ended up getting the black one shhhhh.
