The 320GB RED DRIVE is the entry level storage option, made up of two 2.5" 160GB laptop hard drives. The RED DRIVE is able to record between 2 and 3-hours of 4K REDCODE RAW footage. The disks in the RED DRIVE are not shock mounted, so camera movement will affect the drives.

The CompactFlash module DOES NOT store any data, but rather adds an interface for CF media cards to be used. *High speed CF media (>350x) must be used. 8GB and 16GB are the two most popular options for those shooting with the RED ONE camera.
