Maybe you can relate to this. All I wanted to do was return my dvd. I got charged extra because some inconsiderate people in front of me took 15 minutes to choose a dvd. The whole family was there and they were reading the entire synopsis for every movie. One of them was actually looking up reviews for the movies on his iphone to see which one he wanted. Why can't people do that BEFORE they come to the Red Box. There was a huge line of people behind me who wanted to return their movies too.
Then, they couldn't figure out which way you're supposed to swipe the credit card to purchase. That took another couple minutes.
Since I started Blockbuster I haven't had to wait in line once. My DVD rentals come by mail. Even when I went to the store to do an in store exchange, I didn't have to wait. I can just set my movies on the counter as I walk in and pick up a new rental on the way out. If the store is crowded, I drive down the street to the next Blockbuster.

Redbox lets you rent for 1 day only and then they charge you again. $1 extra dollar for every day you're late. I've rented movies and forgotten all about them. A few weeks later it turns out that I now own that movie, and paid twice as much as it's worth.
Blockbuster online lets you keep your dvd as long as you want. They don't charge late fees and you can rent up to 5 movies at once. I still forget about movie rentals sometimes, but it's no big deal. I can take my time and watch the dvd whenever I'm ready and return it whenevery I'm done. Sometimes I watch movies 2 or 3 times before putting sending them back.

Redbox has a small selection of movie titles for rent. The box isn't that big after all. I have gone to the box to rent sometimes and found that I have seen almost every movie in the box already.
Red boxes can only carry a few copies of each movie too. When I want a new release I've often been dissapointed because someone has beat me to the punch. They're all rented out.
I've never had this problem with Blockbuster. 80,000 titles is alot. If they don't have the movie I want, then I probably can't find it anywhere and they have more copies of each movie than there are renters.

Yet another reason to stop using Red Box. I was at Mcdonalds the other day and I heard this furious clicking and cursing near the Red Box in the corner. When I looked over there, there was a woman and her son practically beating on the screen of the box. It had frozen up and wouldn't complete their order. I came back a few days later and the Red Box was still broken. No one could get their dvds from the machine. Unfortunately, this seems to happen alot with Redbox.
