The original article vote up site where you can vote for your favorite article, video or link, however, it's pretty tough to do so on Digg. .

Reddit, of course. Digg's redesign killed any sort of "competition" the two sites had, considering its severe loss of traffic. The Hivemind is far more entertaining, compassionate, generous, fanatical, etc. Though, to be fair, I did start out with Digg -- I just came to my senses after a friend's pushing.

Reddit is just less complicated. More fun. You don't have to wait for something to load when you submit a link it is pretty fast. Digg has to digg through a submission then you have to select all kinds of info. Too much trouble. Plus I am a fan of the alien mascot :-)

Digg has triple or so the traffic of Reddit, but the main reason many people prefer Reddit is the control factor. Digg seems to be controlled by a select few, while on Reddit, anyone and everyone can push something to the front page.

- You definitely need an update to show Digg's decline in traffic over the last year or so. Comparing the two sites on Google Analytics or Alexa is hilarious. Anyway, just a thought. I love lenses full of polls, haha. Thanks for the entertainment.

- I was checking general opinions on Digg vs Reddit and ended up on your lens. Apart from the fact that it's very hard to vote up your content on Digg, which social media site do you prefer yourself?
