Red Double Dapple Dachshund Lilly

My dog Lilly is a red double dapple dachshund. She is a beautiful dog and a very loving pet. She is a lap dog and wants loving all the time. She is expecting puppies on June 16, 2009 so she is just laying around now. She has blue eyes and everyone that comes
into my home has to stop and look at her. She is a sleeper now. She has her favorite chair to sleep in but she is put in a crate at night and sometimes in the day and that
way we don't have to worry about the garbage or any little surprises in the morning. She was a night time creature for a while until i found the crate. She is a loving pet and
she has her own personality with her own mind and she likes wienies for a snack, We have a two story house and she likes to sit on the top stair and stare down at everyone coming in the front door and let me know they are there.

Puppies

We are anxious for the puppies to get her and we are curious at to what they are going to look like. Since she is a double dapple she had to be breed to a red or black dog so i choose a solid Red dog named Hensley's Jingle Balls. He looks like a miniature irish setter
with long red hair and he is basically an outside dog. He has his own pen and he he is set in his ways he is getting older is a little slower and sometimes cranky. I think they will make
beautiful puppies. I know we will keep one of them for sure my husband Joe already is
talking about it. Lilly's name is Lilly Marie Cecil and her mothers name is Candy Marie
Springer and her fathers name is Skooter Blue Springer and he is dapple. Her mother is a
miniature. Lilly is a little bit larger than her i guess she took after her daddy. We will have to update when the puppies get here.

This the puppies daddy he is a lot older than Lilly. I really like his color. I think they will make some pretty babies. I cain't wait to see what they are going to look like. I will up date as soon as they are born. They should be here around the 16th of June. He has been an outside dog. He likes to mark his territory and I don't like that all over everything so unless it is snowing or real cold he stays outside and Lilly goes outside to visit him.
This is his 22nd litter yeah you heard me right and he is 12 years old fantastic and all the puppies are cute and got lots of red in them

Waiting for the arrival of puppies

We are planning for the arrival. We have to crates one upstairs and one downstairs. I like to sleep upstairs at night with my family and live downstairs at day so i will have 2 clean crates and they are different one is bar cage and one is enclosed. so I will have
plenty of room when the time comes for the arrival. I think I will have 5 or 6 and they will get birth certificates from AKC like me. I can not wait to see what colors they will be.
