Developers Volition has made lot of changes in this recent release as compared to the first two versions of the game. Another good thing for this installment is the development of new weapons and equipment that can be really helpful in the quest of spreading chaos and havoc. The most notable of this are the different varieties of backpacks that are found in many areas of the game. Each one has its unique abilities which are used to temporarily enhance the player's movements as well other weapons. There is the rhino pack which provides the player with a temporary strength boost that will enable him to knock everything down. Aside from that, it causes the player to propel himself forward much like a charging rhino. This is extremely useful especially in situations where no other paths are available except to go through the wall or in taking down an opponent without the use of any weapons. Other types of backpacks include the jetpack for vertical flight; the commando pack for the enhanced weaponry; the concussion pack for knocking down opponents; and a fleet - footed pack for the quick burst of speed.
