Redneck Party Songs

These Redneck party songs are perfect for your average everyday hard working, beer drinking Redneck to unwind and relax to at the end of his or her work day.

Rednecks are a distinct class of common country folk. They work hard, play hard, and enjoy hooting it up with family and close friends. Redneck songs tend to combine all these elements into their melodies which is why these are a few of my favorite Redneck songs...

The story behind the opening photo...

Turns out when my dad was in the army that his fun loving ways got him and a couple of his army buddies into a wee smidge of trouble. Fortunately one of the senior officers knew that my dad and one of his buddies played guitar so he offered them a deal in exchange for turning a blind eye to their current antics.

Yep, dad and his buddy wound up singing for their supper. They agreed to play for the senior officers at their social functions. Definitely beat peeling potatoes or cleaning latrines.

Redneck trivia: Did you know?

Did you know that the first Rednecks actually lived in rural country homes, or wilderness cabins, and not trailers as modern day Rednecks are frequently depicted as living in now.

No matter where they reside the modern day Redneck is really not all that different from the hard working country Redneck of yesterday. Today's Redneck may live in a wilderness cabin, a cottage in town, a country homestead, a penthouse apartment, a trailer park, or a mansion way up there in Beverly Hills.

Urban Rednecks today still are just plain old hard working, hard partying, out spoken, country minded folks, just like the very first Rednecks were. It's all in the attitude.

Redneck songs are simply all about being a Redneck...

Cory Branan: 'Yelling Redneck' Gets Nasty on New Album 'Mutt'
"But what I found is that his fans are very lyric-oriented, and I play solo, so there's nothing aesthetically for them to balk at, except for who's this redneck yelling? I think that's the best perk about touring solo, is a song is a song."
Craig Morgan, 'Corn Star' - Song Review
'Corn Star' stands out on Morgan's 'This Ole Boy' album. It's the project's 'Redneck Yacht Club' or 'Bonfire' ? a song that is too much fun to leave as an album cut. There's a clear trend with this style of song for Morgan.

Yep, there really isn't anyone else quite like a Redneck...

Let your endorphins out to play...

When you participate in pleasurable activities like smiling, laughing, exercising or playing, your brain does an amazing thing and releases a little chemical message known as an endorphin.

These endorphins are feel good messages that have the power to actually remove physical and emotional pain. They travel down the spine, and then throughout your body, sending a feeling of well being as they go.

These endorphins not only have the ability to relieve pain but they also have the power to make you feel happy.
