RedZ is a total Scam!. The went through my click bank at the speed of light.
I received no phone calls, and absoultley no revenue. The stats they provided were fradulent, and did not match up with Google Analylitics. I had $50.00 left in my Click Bank, and asked for a refund of the remaining money. RedZ Refused to return the remaining $50.00. In running their IP adresses that they alledged clicked on my website, I discovered that some of them were vacant fields containing no buildings or houses. This Company Is A SCAM!

My personal and professional opinion is that Red-Z is a SCAM !!! At best it is a money-sucking worthless service. I own an internet marketing company. I am qualified to rate this company on its own performance, and by comparison to other traffic generating services.

I tried it for my own business and here is my experience:
Budget consumerd very quickly. NO leads or inquires . . . NOTHING! Google Analytics showed time on site as being a few seconds, with a 100% bounce rate.

    A client's experience:
After initial run: budget consumed quickly, no leads or inquiries, time on site a few seconds, 100% bounce rate. Client directly challenged Red-Z on phone and explained findings.
Next run (after conversation with Red-Z: budget consumed quickly, no leads or inquiries, and magicially the time on site then averaged 1 minute and visitors went to one other page.
In nine months Red-Z sent 5,275 visitors to their site with ZERO inquiries or leads!!! ZERO!!!! This company sells an industrial product and their site has no "wow factor" which would draw casually interested or curious visitors. You either know and need their product or would have no interest. By comparison, organic results from another search engine yielded 5,900 visits and 115 leads.

General experiences: Do a Google search for "RedZ Scam" and you will be stunned at the vast number of complaints, negative comments and such. For a better ROI, instead of working with Red-Z, you may want to buy scratch-off lottery tickets.

I wish I had read this long before now. I have thrown away about $1,500 on this scam. I started researching the analytics more closely. The rep said there must be a problem with the reports since they didn't show any sales what-so-ever. I made a couple of test purchases myself after searching through RedZ. Those purchases were tracked just fine. On closer examination, all traffic appears to be robotic. How else could they generate the lowest bounce rate, sky-high new visitor rate, highest time on site rate, most pages viewed and at the same time, never generate a single sale?
  • Wyrick's Hillside Lodges Oct 21, 2011 @ 5:30 pm | delete
Still scamming. No toolbar this time. Just top 3 on the search engine and partnered sites. I ran one swing with them. My server didn't match their records and google analytics didn't match. Also, a 99+ % bounce rate. average time on site is 1 second. That says it all!

I just bailed out of REDZEE, we have been with them for a while, the constant phone calls, almost harassment and the very poor response....along with ALL the other disgruntled advertiser have said...SAVE YOUR MONEY. Ask how many people you know use or who REDZEE is???? NO ONE I know does! WE GOT SCAMED AS WELL!

Thank you for the info. I was looking at the analytics of a new SEO client and noticed that they get almost half of their traffic from Redz.com. However, their conversions from their traffic appears to be 0%. Interestingly, 96.5% of the traffic from Redz appears to be new traffic. I wonder if they have some kind of bots randomly clicking and sending traffic to their PPC clients.
  • Mike May 14, 2011 @ 3:58 am | delete
I had the same experience (0 Conversions) and did a little research. Alexia said that more than 1/2 of their traffic comes form Canada. Over 10% actually comes from porn sites. We did not have 1 sale and we set up a separate folder with the top 3 numbers of our product IDs exclusive to links that are only available from a RedZ ad, so there is absolutely no problem with our tracking system. It has only been 2 weeks, but we are 1/2 way through our budget, they have claimed almost as many impressions as Google and more than MSN. Same with clicks and we have far more keywords with both Google and MSN. We have also asked them to shut off our ads. We will ask for a refund only once and if that is not done, we will file a request with our credit card company, that the service is not as advertised.

So, the only way people "use" the RedZ search is if they have a RedZ toolbar on their computer? Glad I read this here, they are due to call me back after this weekend.
  • Matt May 19, 2011 @ 3:22 pm | delete
redz is still out there actively scamming away. Do not do business with them and warn others.
  • careful shopper Mar 22, 2011 @ 1:03 pm | delete
RedZ just contacted me today but were not forthcoming with regard to number of searches thru thier site for my keywords, they indicated 2400 serches a month for each of my keywords. I requested info for search traffic from last summer and they claimed only to be able to provide that info for last month. This seems suspect. As mentioned in the article above they claimed exclusive relationship w/ google, yahoo, & bing and that my site would show up in the paid section of those sites with no mention this only would happen if someone was using a redz toolbar. Thier pitch is slick I am glad I took time to research them prior to making a decision.

I too have been scammed by this company. I've asked for a refund to no avail. I'm now asking for them to cancel my account to refund the balance. They had the audacity to claim my tracking system wasn't working properly! Wow, that's just what I signed up for, a blackhat link service that is untraceable. Tom, how does someone get in touch with you? I didn't see your address below.

As a consumer advocate and author on the subject, I have continued reaching out to others who believe RedZ is a fraud, a scam or just a con. I now have testimony from a former employee with detailed documentation of deceptive business practices. I've also been in contact with a number of others who feel they have been scammed as well -- some to the tune of $80K and more. We will begin preparing testimony to send to the States Attorney General in Florida and States where those who feel they were scammed reside. If you would like to be included as a signatory, please contact me at the address below.

We first heard about Red Zee about two years ago. They were doint two things we didn't like. One was telling people they could be on top of Google and Yahoo without clearly explaining that this would only be for those who install the red zee toolbar. Which would be losers and the clueless, if even they fall for the junkware. Secondly, they were adding paid results to the organic results, but not disclosing this fact. They were proud of it and I was shocked. We posted about them at the time and I assumed they crashed and burned as they should have done but no such luck... Avoid and pass the word on...!

RedZ.com Has taken $1,000.00 of my hard earned money and the results are in. I pay for full statistical documentation of those who click on my web site. Within a month RedZ had surpassed Google for the number of referrers. I thought this was beyond belief so I looked further and found that 93.5% of this traffic left as fast as they got there. Every other search referrer falls into a narrow range of 58.3% to 67.5% bounce rate. It would appear to me that RedZ is dialing for dollars at my expense. I'll let you know what happens when I try to retrieve my unspent dollars. (like that's going to happen)

I got a call, the usual sales pitch and when I asked certain specific questions such as about click fraud, conversion rates, etc, I got the standard sales pitch instead of a quality answer. I told them I will have to think about it and would call them back. The interesting thing was that the sales caller was able to plug my site into their search engine within 2 seconds, so I am sure once they find out I will not be spending any money, they will block and remove my site entirely even though it might have shown up in random searches otherwise. Oh well, I guess that means no free traffic from a search engine no one uses or has ever heard about either. ;)

I am ashamed to admit that I have been thoroughly scammed! I have spent several thousand dollars over the past two years with RedZee and have just realized that the increasingly large number of clicks we are receiving in both our web sites are producing 0 transactions equaling $0 in revenue. RedZee has increased the number of clicks up to 40% of our highest traffic source which is from Google. In both our eCommerce site, we have a decent conversion rate from traffic coming from every search engine except for traffic from RedZee. All other traffic converts - RedZee's traffic shows 0 conversions. I know the laws of averages don't work that way. RedZee traffic has to be from bots and not from live visitors. I am disgusted with myself for not checking results more carefully a long time ago. I just paid another $500 a few days ago. I am going to try to get that back but don't hold out much hope. I also became suspicious when our rep phoned recently to say one of our competitors (gave us their name) had purchased quite a few keywords that we should quickly consider purchasing. I checked with that competitor and he had not purchased any of those words. And, true enough, if you search RedZee for those terms, he does not come up in the top 3 paid spots. Steer clear of RedZee for sure!!!

I think its time we exposed RZ to the Attorney General of Florida. It would be helpful to have others attest to the obvious fraud. If interested, please email me your contact information and comments about how you were scammed. Tom Wilson - twilson993@gmail.com.

We got also scammed into buying $300.00 worth of RedZee "searchers" :)
So we bought the clicks for a somewhat competitive keyword but very specific (maybe 20-30 searches on Google). Well, RedZee sent us 150 people who "searched" for our keyword on ReddZee.com the first day !!! (150 ???)
So we checked our real time tracking software LiveHelpNow (LiveHelpNow.com) and guess what?...they did! They sent us 150 visitors the first day advert has started, the only problem was that each and every visitor sent by RedZee visited front page of our site and left immediately! 100% bounce rate which indicates that they are buying their traffic. We called immediately and had one of their guys login to our Livehelpnow panel to see what we are seeing and next day we got full refund.
Stay out as far away as possible from redzee unless you want to waste your money.

Redzee is still around. The reason they manage to stay in business is because they hit you with your worst fear - "Your competitor, so-and-so, is currently bidding on these search terms and receiving a lot of hits through Redzee". But, they hit me twice ($600 then $250) on this program. When I see REDZ INC on the caller ID, I just ignore it. But, today the Caller ID said SMITH LAURIE 1-727-667-9850. I thought it was a customer, but it was Redzee with their high-pressure, fear tactics. I told her in no mixed terms that her call was deceptive, their service does not work to produce sales, and they are a "nobody" search engine. I'm sure she'll call back in a few months when she's sure I've forgotten about the call and I'm in the heat of the Holidays. My advice? STAY AWAY FROM REDZEE You will have far better success going mainstream with Google Adwords and so forth. Good Luck! Om, shanti, shanti, shantih

I got scammed too ... $600 worth. A complete waste. What traffic I do get is bogus! Wish I read this first rather than getting scammed into wasting more of my money.

Redzee is using a bot that generates ip's then uses those ip's to visit the site in question. Notice that the "visitors" never visit anything but one page. There is another company with the same tactics called Unique Placement. They do basically the same thing with a toolbar that places sites above search results in other search engines using an iframe.
Class Action are words that come to mind!!!

Thank you for the information! They called me yesterday and almost sold me on 10 cents per click $500 minimum. Like your other readers I have only found bad publicity concerning RedZee. I asked the saleman to call back next week b/c I had to do some research and see if we have $$ for advertising. It hasn't taken long to make my decision. Thank you again...thank you.

I bought a $300 package this week for my #1 keyphrase. Please note, my company is already #1 on Google and Yahoo organically. But I thought I'd give it a try. Hmmm..? Soon thereafter, I had an instantaneous, one day huuuuge jump in my click count. I received 16 times the number of traffic that i get from both Google and Yahoo searchers! Impressive? No. I'm skeptical. The next day my traffic was straight back down to my usual average. Only a bot could produce a huge peak in hits one day then none the next day. Had redzee been effective on a consistent basis, I would be getting more hits that measured consistently.

About two years ago I invested over $10,000 with RedZee. I was very suspicious of their "mathematics" so I did a simple test. I tested Redzee with a brand new website. Yes, the first page got 5000 hits, but the second page got 0 hits. Now, they are calling me back today (2-4-09) and I did a test, which Redzee volunteered to do for free - for one day. The first, second and third pages got hits. I STILL DON'T TRUST REDZEE. In my opinion, RedZee is up to outright Fraud. Their bots are probably programmed to go further into a site. I would be 10 dollars to a nickle that they are fraud - that is how sure I am; although I cannot prove it. 15 cents for a hit where you have to pay $3. a hit - too good to be true . . .you know the saying. I hope someone can shut them down.

I've been doing business with Redzee for almost all of 2008. Later part of 2008 they contacted me to advertise for another keyphrase. Short on money I decided to only do it for this keyphrase for 3 months. Suddenly I noticed traffic increasing whereas before we did not get much traffic from RedZee to beging with. I have live chat available on my site and with the service you can see the keyword used to get to my site. All hits landed on home page and never went further. With my live chat service I tried to "call" them to see if they needed assistance. Of course no repsonse. Sometimes the "visitor" from Redzee would sit on the home page for an hour or two. I immediately recognized this as click fraud and the traffic as coming from bots. Then I did a search on the internet (which I should have done before agreeing to pay them) and found that Redzee has a bad reputation all over the internet. Everyone's complaints are the same. The company now is called Winspeed. Be warned!
  • Mainayh Dec 10, 2008 @ 10:40 am | delete
Yes - they are scammers! RUN when they call... and they will call... again and again and again!
Unfortunately I bought some $.10 traffic - but it is all from bots! I agree - they may operate under the radar for a bit but if they try to go mainstream they will be exposed for the fraud they are!
    Red Zee = SCAM ZEE

I bought into this last year and then felt sick after I read all these posts about them. Still 10-Cent clicks are cheap for PPC. Especially if you don't know how to get your website to the top organically in a reasonable period of time. RedZee is getting me some exposure until I can improve the organic stuff. I'm certain I will dump them the next time they call, however.

We are going to ask them to give us 1000 free visitors so we can track the usage from them. Heck, even 100 should tell us something.

Redzee took $500 from me. They promised me 10000 hits. My company name appears to have disappeared only days after they said I was up to 3000 hits.
