Reebok International Limited is the subsidiary of Adidas AG; the name is drive from a type of African antelope or gazelle and spelled in Dutch as RHEBOK. Reebok founded in 1985 at Bolton, Lancashire and named as Mercury Sports but in 1960s it was renamed to its current name. In early 2006 German footwear giant Adidas owned Reebok and completed its acquisition, basically it's English producer of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories.

In 1980s when aerobic fitness craze started Reebok designed Freestyle athletic shoes for women and taken all the market by storm and surged in popularity. In that time Reebok also introduces same variety for men called EX-O-Fit. In 2004 Reebok acquired official National Hockey League sponsor CCM, and is now CCM and RBK brands manufacturing hockey equipment.  Reebok sponsors mainly four teams from Australian Football League in 2005, Also in England the company served well to Premiership football club in late-1990s when teams were moved to new home called Reebok Stadium. Also all other areas of sport like Baseball, Football and Rugby are contributed by Reebok by its countless efforts.
