Thousands, if not millions of cell phones will be are returned daily to manufacturers, carriers, or third party resellers.A small fractionof them will be beyond repair, some will have superficial problems, and most will little to no problems at all(customers are allowed to return merchandise within 30 days if bought from a carrier).

A small fractionof these phones will be used for parts.}Most of them however, are repaired(if needed) and returned back to the market at severly reduced priced
This can mean HUGE savings for bargain hunters like myself.

.Refurbished cell phones are reconditioned to "Factory New" condition and tested to ensure they function the same as a brand new phone.

The term "Refurbished" is often confused with used .Refurbished phones were used at one point in time BUT, they have been restored to NEW condition, meaning it is impossible to tell the differnce bewtween a refurbished unit and a brand new one.Also, refurbished units are of MUCH better quality than used units are.

Lets say Joe Smith visits to Service provider's store and purchases a shiny new Motorola RAZR. Two weeks he decides he cant afford it because ofa massive amounts of debt to pay, and decides to return the phone to AT&T to get a refund..The phone was kept in mint condition and is virtually in the same condition as when john bought it.

Once a phone has been returned the carrier can no longer sell it to customers, so the phone has to be shipped back to the manufacturer.The manufacturer receives the phone and after testing it find no problems or physical damage.The phone is reconditioned, repackaged and sold back to the service provider or other companies at drastically reduced prices.

In turn, the service provider passes on these savings to their customers.However, a majority of them will still force you into a 2-year service agreement to purchase these phones at the marked down prices. For thoose who dont wish to sign a 2-year contract there has to be better options!

Buying directly from a manufacturer saves even more! Unfortunately, the demand for refurbished phones far outweighs the supply due to the huge discounts.The last time Apple decided to sell refurbished iPhones on their website they sold out in less than 30 minutes!Another factor to worry about is few manufacturers sell refurbished cell phones back to the consumer

The second and my most favorite is to Buy Online!

Online stores don't have to deal with as much overhead as physical locations.This means even more savings! Online stores often have way better prices than storefront locations!
