Regclean: Scan, Repair & Speed Up Your PC With Regclean
There are a number of Regclean products on the market today. Some of them share the name as well. Microsoft has a free regclean called RegClean 4.1a Build 7364.1 which can be downloaded free at download.com however, I have found that it doesn't do a very good job cleaning up your entire registry problems.
The current version is a little old as well and may not support Windows Vista very well.
However, there is a product on the market that also has the same name RegClean, but don't get the two mixed up.
Regclean does a complete clean up of you system daily if needed. Why daily you ask? Simply because everytime you get rid of a Desktop item, remove files, copy files from one directory to another etc it can de-optimize your system progressively make it slower and slower as time goes on.

Invalid shortcuts are what seems to be the most common causes of degraded systems performance, due to the fact that users tent to move, delete and setup shortcuts unknowningly.
Regclean does a really excellent job in removing these issues.
So for each of these categories Regclean scans for errors. Once it finds an error it rectifies it.
