Of late my computer had become too sluggish so someone suggested I fix my Windows registry using RegCure. I had heard a lot of good and bad things about RegCure. Confused, I decided to check the reality myself.
I planned to download and register RegCure on my PC and test it out to see how well it works or if it works at all! So, I downloaded the free version of RegCure from ParetoLogic, and ran the customary scan on my PC. My very first experience with RegCure was far from satisfactory! In this article I will tell you about my experiences with RegCure.

The Dark Side of Reg Cure
An Honest Review
I knew that my computer was running very slow, and I knew there were problems in my registry, but I never thought that there would be 1,023 invalid registry entries in my system! Well, that is what RegCure found out on 'deep' scanning!Anyhow, I proceeded with the registry repair but RegCure won't let me repair my registry unless I purchase the full version! Don't be fooled by the 'free download' that they advertise on their site - it is nothing except a hook!
All you can do with the free version is just fix your font, clear your Temp folder, etc., which you can do yourself even without its help! Anyways, since I was desperate to speed up my computer, I went ahead and paid $29.95.
Fortunately I didn't purchase their web optimization software! I will tell you in a little while why I say 'fortunately'. Here is what happened after I registered RegCure on my PC.
I had RegCure delete all the invalid registry entries from my system. I then rebooted my computer (it would automatically create backups every time you run it to repair the registry). Well, that is when I saw what the hell had happened! My computer would startup OK but every time my computer started up, Windows gave me an error message that "Winsock2 needs to be installed on this computer".
Being the computer novice that I am, it was hard for me to understand what the error message actually meant! And well, there was more than that in store for me!
A little later when I tried to run one of my software programs from the Start Menu, I kept getting messages that certain DLL files were not functioning correctly so the programs needs to be closed! Well, before I had installed RegCure, those programs were functioning fine. I purchased RegCure simply to speed up my computer, but I never bargained for that I got!
Since I was very confused about what to do next I decided to get in touch with RegCure support. To my surprise, I discovered I couldn't even access the internet!
In fact, I would get connected but couldn't surf the web. I tried it with both Internet Explorer as well as Firefox, but it just wouldn't work!
Ultimately I decided to restore my old registry file (the backup that was created before RegCure repaired my registry) and see if that would work. Fortunately, with this, my computer was back to normal: the way it was before purchasing the software!
I then contacted RegCure at http://support.regcure.com/ and reported this problem. I waited for a week but got no response from them. Finally, I decided that it is time to get my money back from them!
To top it all, the version I installed didn't even come with an uninstaller! I had to remove the program from my computer through Control Panel=>>Add or Remove Programs, and then had to locate the RegCure folder on my hard drive and delete that as well!
I contacted their sales department at sales@regcure.com and asked for a refund. Again, I received no response. I wonder if there are any people behind the company or if this is a total SCAM! I wonder how it even made up to the top selling product in Clickbank!
Even more surprising is the number of 'positive reviews' of RegCure that are scattered throughout the internet (apparently written by their associates).
Finally my friend told me to file for a refund at http://www.clickbank.com/csinquiry.html. Well, nice to know that there is a little light at the end of the tunnel as I got my refund within 2 days! I decided to put up an honest review of RegCure here so that others can be saved from my hellish experience.
I hope this review will prevent the gullible customers from falling for their marketing hype!

PC Registry Cleaner - The Absolute Truth Revealed!
The Absolute Truth Revealed About Windows Registry Cleaner
In this article I will tell you the various things that can happen to your computer if you don't clean your registry regularly, as well as the best registry repair software available in the market.
To begin with, if you are using a system that is older than Windows 95, then you don't have a registry. As a matter of fact, before the introduction of Windows 95, all information regarding system configuration were stored in INI files.
Over time, it was realized that INI files were making the computer sluggish. Therefore, Windows registry was introduced with Windows 95 and the subsequent versions. With the introduction of the registry, computers started to run faster than before.
However, a computer will run fast only if you don't install or uninstall any software on it. When you install a software program, new registry entries are created within your system.
However, when you uninstall software, it is unable to remove all the registry entries created by it, and therefore, leaves behind a bunch of useless registry entries.
Over time, these entries get piled up as you continue to install and uninstall different kinds of software programs, and eventually clog your registry. This makes your computer run slower than usual as well as become prone to frequent crashes.
To get rid of this problem, you need to clean up your Windows registry regularly. You can of course try to clean your registry entries by hand, but unless you are a computer expert, you had better not try it, because if you delete a valid registry entry by mistake, your computer may stop working altogether!
Therefore, I would recommend you use a pc registry cleaner that is compatible with your system. There are many different registry cleaners available in the market and each of them is compatible with a particular Windows system. However, in our research, we have found that most of the available registry cleaners are compatible with Windows XP or later versions.
Just clean your registry once and see! You will notice that not only your computer has started to load and run faster than before, it has also become less prone to crashes.
Make sure you clean your Windows registry regularly with a professional pc registry cleaner and never allow it to get cluttered with useless and junk registry entries! If you need further information on pc registry cleaner, just read my registry fix review!

Most people have a habit of doing everything themselves, regardless of how critical or simple they are! These people won't let others interfere in their affairs. While this stance may work in other areas of life, it is really not the best way to respond when you want to fix your Windows registry.
There are some jobs such as removing spyware, viruses and obsolete registry entries, which are best left to professional software. In this article I will tell you why it is critical to fix your Windows Registry NOW!
Most computers come with a default installation of antivirus software as well as a spyware remover program. Hence, most people use these programs on a daily basis. However, when it comes to fixing the Windows registry, most people are not even aware of the registry and its functions, let alone using a smart registry repair tool.
Simply put, a registry is a file system which keeps a detailed log of all the hardware and software configurations of your system. As a matter of fact, your computer refers to it regularly during its day-to-day operations. A Windows registry will store all information regarding the software programs you have added to or removed from your system.
Trouble starts when you remove a program from your system that you no longer need! Once you uninstall a program, it leaves behind a pile of unused and obsolete registry entries which make the registry unnecessarily bulky. Searching through a large, bulky file takes a lot of time for your computer; hence it becomes slow and sluggish.
It is critical that you remove obsolete registry entries from your system on a regular basis if you want your system to run faster. If you don't keep your registry clean, a time will come when your system will stop working altogether. Then, your only option would be to reformat your hard drive and start over!

Registry Repair Tool: Do You Really Need It?
The Windows registry is a simple file system that stores all information pertaining to your system configuration as well as the list of programs you have added to or removed from your system. It is a database to which your computer refers in order to perform its operations.
When this registry becomes corrupt and bulky, your computer becomes slow because it has to spend a lot more time in searching through the required registry entries. You can fix this problem by using a smart registry repair tool. In this article I will tell you how a registry repair tool can make your computer run as fast as before!
Why does a registry become corrupt? Like I said, the Windows registry is a database consisting of all information regarding your system configurations as well as the programs you have added to it.
Problem starts when you remove a program from your system. When you uninstall a program, it is unable to remove all of the registry entries it had created in the system. If you continue to install and uninstall software programs month after month, then a time will come when these invalid and useless registry entries will get piled up and make the registry large and corrupt.
There are of course other reasons why your registry can become corrupt. If your system is attacked by spyware or malware, many unnecessary registry entries will be created. Once you remove those useless entries, your system will start functioning normally again. And do you know what is the best way to fix corrupt registry?
There are actually two ways to fix fix registry errors. One is by removing the obsolete registry entries by hand. You shouldn't attempt to do this because not only is it time consuming, but also quite dangerous. If you slip a little and delete an important registry entry by mistake, your entire system may stop working altogether! That's why it is wise and safe to use a professional registry repair tool instead.
There are several registry repair softwares available in the market and they all come in different flavors. The job of a registry repair tool is to remove all the obsolete entries from your registry quickly, effectively and efficiently, without damaging it in any way.
One important feature that you should look for when buying a registry repair tool is that of the ability to backup the registry. Having your registry backed up will give you the added assurance that just in case something goes wrong, you can easily restore your system back to its previous settings. If you want to know more about the registry repair tool I use, simply read my registry fix review!
