Born earth, school, university, artist since 1982, exhibitions since 1986, lives and works in New York, NY. Regia draws, sketches and doodles (the distinctions are hard to make) the way most people think: nonstop, unconsciously, with episodes of sudden, intense focus. Her drawings are airy, light, and abstract. Regia considers herself to be an abstract expressionist painter, using a multilayered `lines and splash' style filled with vigorous movement and rich color. It was created in New York and acquired directly from Regia. It is signed on the front REGIA and on the reverse New York Studio. It came with a certificate of authenticity.
