The first step to relief
The first step in diagnosing arthritis is a meeting between a patient and a doctor. The doctor can review your history of symptoms and examine the joints that are causing pain, inflammation or deformity. The doctor will also examine other parts of the body that may be affected by arthritis but are not showing obvious symptoms. The doctors overall diagnosis will be based on the total pattern of the symptoms.
