    One freezing winter in the Alps, the heating went awry in an monks’ convent. The abbot took them all over to the nuns’ convent situated on the next mounatin top, because this was a matter of survival. The abbot and the abbess decided to house them two per cell, but it came out uneven and one nun and one monk had to share. After a while the nun threw open the window, lifted her cassock and started putting snow on her daisy, to cool it off a bit. The monk lifted up his cassock in turn, took off his rosary and wrapped it around his bean stalk. The nun asked whatever he was doing. The monk answered that he was putting on his snow-chains!

    It's amazing isn't it. I have a lens with more religious jokes too, and these are just all the clean ones. I didn't think it was right to add any with a more adult content to Squidoo. I do like looking at life and religion from alternative viewpoints. Sometimes it's good to have a sense of humor.

    A priest washes his car. Just after polishing it a leaf falls on the roof so he gives it a quick spray from the hosepipe. His neighbour, a rabbi, sees the two second spray and asks him what he's doing. "Just baptising the new car" says the priest, and chuckles at the gullible look on the rabbi's face.

    Next week the rabbi gets a new car. The priest comes out of his house to have a look only to see the rabbi sawing an inch of the exhaust pipe.

    Fun religious jokes. If we can't laugh at ourselves, we've got a problem. Have you heard this one?

    A mother woke her son up on Sunday morning and told him he needed to get ready to go to church. The son replied to his mother that he didn't want to go to church this morning. She told him nonsense he should get up and go to church.
    "But mom" he replied, "Everybody hates me, the sermons are boring and none of my friends ever come."
    His mother replied, "Now, son...! First, everybody doesn't hate you, only a couple of bullies and you just have to stand up to them. Second, the sermons mean a lot to many people. If you listened to them, you'd be surprised at how good they are in helping people. Third, you have lots of friends at church. They are always having you over to their house. And finally, you have to go, you're the pastor!!"

    A terrific, slightly irreverant humor lens. ;) That picture of the nun, 'You Never Know Who Reads These Jokes' got me thinking -- the nuns when I attended Catholic grade school DIDN'T seem to have a sense of humor at all. Perhaps they have lightened up since then? Maybe that's why I tend to take things so seriously -- all those nuns? ;)

    Well you can't please everyone with some things like Religious jokes unfortunately. I think that if a preacher decides to fart in church, then they obviously don't see a problem with it, and I guess their congregation don't either.

    Great lens! My Uncle is an Assemply of God preacher and he is always telling religious jokes. He even tells them to his congregation. I am going to share your lens with him.

    A nun climbed into a taxi. The taxi driver was feeling a bit sleepy and said: Give us a kiss then!

    The nun hesitated then said: "Only if you're Christian, go to church every Sunday and are single."

    The taxi driver said "Yeah, sure. I'm all those things."

    The nun smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
    The taxi driver grinned and said: "Thanks babe. I lied. I'm an Anglican, I never go to church and I'm a married man.

    The nun surprisingly didn't gasp but whispered

    Most of the jokes I have seen before - but they are still funny :)
    It's a great shame that some Christians don't seem to be able to laugh at themselves, they are missing out.

    I live in the Bible Belt, and things get pretty tense around here sometimes! I mean, you break wind, and you're burning in hell for it. This is a great lens! 5 stars from someone who's a Christian AND has a great sense of humor!
