Some interesting ways to remember Michael Jackson - the undisputed King of Pop

Like a lot of you out there, I'm really missing Michael Jackson.

It's really quite odd, I have never really considered myself to be a huge fan, but when I heard the news of his death I felt strangely affected. I found myself listening to his tracks again (my favourites are: Thriller, Smooth Criminal and Wanna be Startin' Something), and remembering how much Michael's music has featured in my life, at every stage. Loads of other people are sharing their Michael Jackson memories too and paying tribute to him by wearing a Michael Jackson t-shirt.

For a bit of fun (and to pay homage to MJ) I have devised 10 fun and interesting ways to pay tribute to the King of Pop.

Number 1 - Wear a cool Michael Jackson t-shirt

Go on, don't be shy - let it all hang out...

What better way than to show the world your love for Michael Jackson than to wear a tribute across your chest (or back). I must say I prefer the less obvious ones.
If you spot a fellow fan wearing one, just give them a knowing nod of appreciation - nice one!

Number 2 - play your favourite MJ tracks

Get spinning. I've been playing my CDs and mp3s constantly!

It's sad in a way that it takes the sad demise of a legend to have that artist's music suddenly played everywhere again. But I've been blown away by how much respect people obviously have for Michael's music, been hearing it everywhere I go.

All of it - from I Want You Back in 1970, to Off The Wall in 1979, to Bad in 1987 and beyond - sounds as fresh and funky as it always did.

Number 3 - Get a Michael Jackson tattoo

Pretty extreme, but hey, in for a penny....

Number 4 - Throw up a Michael Jackson poster

Take yourself back to MJs glory days with a vintage album poster.

Number 5 - Learn to Moonwalk

It's easy when you know how... Yeah, right!!

Number 6 - Sing an MJ song at karaoke

Go on - belt out a Michael Jackson next time you get the chance, and amaze (or terrify) your friends!

Number 7 - Get the trademark white glove

Wear it with pride, and remember - one only, ok?

Number 8 - throw an MJ themed party

You'll need a costume of course!

Handy tip: before you suggest this to your friends, concentrate on number 5, and practice loads on number 6! :)

Number 9 - Name your first born "Michael"

Surely the ulitimate tribute?

Of course, if you're feeling more adventurous, you could always go for...

Bubbles, Prince, Paris or Blanket!

And finally, number 10 - Rename your house: 'Neverland'!

And it's not as tricky as you might think...

No need to install a fairground or life size statues. A nice sign next to the front door will do nicely.

    Fantastic lens! I found it by accident research for the Michael Jackson Memories project I'm putting together - http://michaeljacksonmemories.co.uk. Some great ideas - think I might have to get myself that fedora hat actually! Heh heh.
