RC Helicopters
You could select either a silent radio controlled helicopter or a noisy one. However, noisy helicopters would generally be gas powered remote control helicopters and their mechanism would be more complicated. Hence, it would be better to practice with a battery powered electric RC helicopter before trying a gas powered helicopter. Still, the gas powered helicopter would give you the rare feeling, excitement, and experience similar to that of flying a real helicopter. It is sheer fun to fly RC helicopters, whatever is your age.
Radio Controlled Helicopters

Flying radio controlled helicopters is not just an exciting sport but also a serious hobby for several people. When the RC helicopter does stunts and somersaults in mid-air, the fun and joy could not be explained in words. The radio control helps you control the movements of the helicopter with high precision. The electric RC helicopters are powered by batteries and could be flown by any person without technical knowledge about helicopters. On the other hand, the gas powered RC helicopters would require a fair amount of technical knowledge as well as regular maintenance.
Both types of remote control helicopters require practice to gain complete control over the movements. The flying of the helicopter with the radio control is a challenging task and it would take some time for you to become an expert. Before you start flying the RC helicopter, you should read the manual carefully. The parts should be assembled meticulously with the help of the diagrams in the manual. The throttle linkages should be fitted in the right position. You should keep the number of screws to the minimum while assembling the radio control helicopter. Prepare a preflight list that includes the safety of the transmitters, radio, and the linkages. Find out about the weather conditions before you start flying the remote control helicopter. Select a place where there are no electric lines in the area of flying.
The Gas versus the Electric RC Helicopters

RC helicopters are fast becoming the most popular boys' toys in the market. It's not very surprising that these copters are becoming so famous, after all a lot of boys have a dream of being able to someday fly a real helicopter. This gives them one way of fulfilling their dream.
If you are planning on getting a RC helicopter well the good news is that you have two choices. You can get the electric RC helicopter or the Gas RC helicopter. What's the difference between the two? Which one is good for you? These are
some of the questions just about to be answered.
The electric RC helicopters are the most famous ones on the market today. If you are just starting off with flying then this should be a good option for you as you don't need to bother about the gas and the engine as it all works on batteries. It's perfect for those of you who do not know much about mechanics. You don't need to know about all the complicated parts as there are none. ALL you need to know is how to use the controls and you can be flying within no time. This is much safer than the gas RC helicopters as they run on batteries and you just have to recharge the batteries every time they run out. You don't have to deal with any inflammable devices. Plus you have an added advantage that these helicopters are quite and don't make much noise like the normal helicopters. So you can fly around your RC helicopter without really disturbing anyone. The only drawbacks of this are that the activity that you can perform with this helicopter is limited. You have to keep recharging the batteries when they die out and because of the reduced sound of the device some people usually don't really get the helicopter experience.
Now coming to the Gas RC helicopters. These are the perfect helicopters for the ones who are more well versed with flying, having more experience. Flying a gas RC helicopter is almost like flying a real helicopter. The sound of the helicopter gives that extra thrill to the whole flying experience. Flying this type of helicopter is so challenging that you will never get bored of doing it. You can also get yourself involved in the mechanics of the helicopter. This makes it even more exciting. Flying this helicopter is real fun and it really requires a lot of dedication and concentration so it adds an extra thrill every time you fly this helicopter. Another great thing about the gas RC helicopters is that these helicopters teach you the basics of flying a helicopter better than any other helicopter. The price of this helicopter is definitely more than the electric RC helicopters but the flying thrill is also double.
Be it an electric RC helicopter or a gas RC helicopter flying any of them is equally exciting and fun. Just make sure you know how to use the controls.
E-Sky Helicopters

E-Sky helicopters are high quality hobby grade remote control helicopters. They are of sturdier build compared to the entry level helicopters. They are made of stronger plastic and metal parts. The details are more elaborate and the touches are realistic. They possess interchangeable parts and the parts could be replaced easily if something is broken or damaged. The radio equipment is provided with advanced longer range capabilities. The motors are very powerful. The controls are 4ch. The servos, receivers, gyros, and electronics are precise. The construction and finish is also very sturdy. Hence, the flying experience is realistic and exciting. However, you should have lot of patience and learn flying with a slow and steady approach. Still, the fourth channel enables you to bank the E-Sky helicopter to bank left and right without any difficulty. This would not be possible in toy radio control helicopters.
The E-Sky helicopters are made in single blade and twin blade models. The 4-channel E-Sky Lama and the 4-channel KOB are twin blade types, while the 4-channel Honey Bee is a single blade model. Single blade model is much more difficult to control and hence you should use it only after practicing with twin blade models. You could also opt for E-Sky 6-channel helicopters later on.
