Remote PC Access Software - Work From Anywhere

Remote access software really is finally moving into the mainstream, thanks to high speed internet and leaps in smartphone technology.
For a long while the only way to access a computer from a phone was via extremely complicated setup using text messages to command line linux machines. Then the smartphone revolution came to pass, and it was good. Microsoft put out Windows Mobile and now you could remote in to your WIndows based desktop PC. This worked ok, but WiMo powered devices were all terrible to use. If it was a version with touch, it was extremely aggravating. When manipulating multiple program windows the inaccuracy made me want to throw the phone at the wall instead of see the productivity increases by quickly rebooting a server or some other supposedly easy task.
For those of us who need to get things done, but don't want to be the world's best sys admin that can email himself and have computers respond automatically, we need to be able to remote in and take care of business. Finding the right remote pc access software is going to be important to make this happen.

Remote PC Access Software Saves Tons of Time
The days of being stuck at your cubicle are over. Employers have long realized that allowing workers to take their work home from them lets them work even after the office doors have closed. Taking this principle to the next level suggests that good workers can be even more productive, handling more beneficial business tasks and balancing personal life tasks during the day and night with remote access to their work machines and servers. Many business already have workers remoting into the servers from their desktop workstations. It is no big stretch to allow company laptops and phones to directly access these servers on different networks. Security is not an issue as we have evolved incredibly difficult to crack encryption algorithms.
As public wireless networks are expanded and broadband speeds increased in America we can see that it is very possible to have a good connection to work machines from the coffee shop, business prospects' office, the train, the plane, or the taxi. Always on email has been a staple of business for a long while now using their mobile phones to reply quickly. The advent of highspeed mobile networks allows for much more than simple email to be responded to immediately.
Speaking from a sysadmin perspective, I can remotely control any of the thousands of PCs we support for our clients from my phone. Usually getting on there is not more than 5 to 10 minutes of work to correct the issues. Being able to do this instantly from anywhere saves me time and stress of having to be at my office workstation. I already have no issue remotely working from my home command center and now that phone broadband speeds have increased exponentially, and the hardware on these phones can allow for touchscreen management that does not lag or break - why can't I do that work from my phone?
