Air Purifier - As seen by the 44 million viewers of ABC's hit television show, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"

Why would I want an air purifier for my home? Isn't the air inside my home protected from outside pollution?

Studies by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Health Canada show that indoor pollutant levels inside the home may be much higher than outdoor levels. Indoor air pollution/contamination can cause or contribute to a variety of health problems, including asthma, allergies, nausea, and chronic respiratory diseases. The air inside your home can contain contaminants and particles that include dust, pollen, pet dander, mold, bacteria, virus, dioxin, formaldehyde and even radon decay byproducts. READ MORE

Water Purifier - The first of its kind

Either Filter the Water you Drink or YOUR BODY becomes the filter....That's Right!!!

DID YOU KNOW THAT CHLORINE IS CONSIDERED A CONTAMINANT?

This in-home water treatment system, with a patented carbon-block filter and UV light, reduces health-effect contaminants and destroys microorganisms.

Look at the before and after photo of a filter in a home being changed.

Reduces over 140 potential health-related contaminants.

NO SYSTEM REDUCES MORE.

The first in-home system to be certified to meet these three separate international standards of water quality by NSF International ,42, 53, and 55B:
Standard 42: Improves taste, odor, and clarity.
Standard 53: Reduces health-effect contaminants.
Standard 55B: Reduces microorganisms with UV light.
Has earned the Water Quality Association's Gold Seal for superior consumer water treatment products.

Works well at all household water pressures, from very low to very high.
The cartridge is designed to serve the average cooking and drinking water needs for a family of six for one year or 1,320 gallons, whichever comes first.

COST-EFFECTIVE: The cost per gallon in the second year is less than 13 cents. ORDER NOW

Visit www.espring.com for details on how eSpringĀ® technology compares to other systems in contaminant reduction and price.
Patented monitoring system lets you know the carbon filter and UV bulb are working, and when it's time for the annual cartridge change.

Changing the cartridge requires no special tools and is as simple as changing a light bulb.
The UV bulb inside the cartridge switches on only when you turn on the tap, so water flows cold, not warmed by the UV light.

Comes with a TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on parts and labor. And a refund within 120 days of your purchase if you're not completely and utterly satisfied. SEE VIDEO DEMO NOW!!

SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SO YOU DONT LIKE DRINKING WATER??? USE THE SYSTEM AND TASTE THE DIFFERENCE

Does the eSpring unit change the taste of water?
The taste of water depends on what's in the water. The eSpring Water Purifier does not remove sulfur, but it will remove many contaminants that affect taste, odor, and clarity of water, such as chlorine.

What inorganic compounds will the eSpring filter remove?
It's possible for a well-designed carbon filter to reduce certain inorganic contaminants. We have documentation that the eSpring carbon-block filter removes lead, mercury, and radon and its decay products.

Will the carbon filter remove all contaminants?
No.
Activated carbon readily adsorbs (causes to stick to its surface) organic carbon-based compounds, but it doesn't have an equivalent removal capacity for inorganic compounds such as iron, lime scale, nitrates, hardness minerals (such as calcium and magnesium), or soluble heavy metals like chromium or cadmium.

Where is the eSpring unit installed?
It can be installed under the sink and connected to a dedicated faucet (included) or on a countertop, connected to your existing faucet.

What does the UV lamp do?
Ultraviolet light is an effective way to treat water for microorganisms without the use of chemicals. The UV lamp produces light in a specific wavelength that is destructive to the RNA and DNA of microorganisms. The light has to be the right intensity and the water must be exposed to the light for a specific amount of time to properly dose the water.

Are both the carbon block and UV light really necessary?
While carbon filtration used with varying degrees of effectiveness in many water treatment options, like pitchers and faucet-mount filters, is the most effective single treatment method available to most homeowners, we don't think it's enough. That's why we've developed the dual-technology eSpring replacement cartridge. Its carbon block reduces simple compounds that affect taste and odor along with organic health-effect contaminants (such as pesticides and VOCs). Our carbon filter can also reduce inorganic contaminants (such as lead, mercury, and radon). The UV light controls potential microorganisms.

How does the activated carbon-block filter work?
Carbon molecules tend to attract other carbon molecules. Most health-effect contaminants pesticides and their by-products, VOCs, and THMs, for example contain carbon molecules. The eSpring carbon-block filter is "activated" carbon, processed to create pores in the carbon that increase its surface area. This increased surface area increases the ability of our filter to attract and "trap" carbon-based contaminants as water passes through the block. Since the surface area of the pores is limited, the carbon filter has a limited trapping capacity. That's why the filter must be replaced every year.

Can water damage the UV bulb?
No, the UV bulb is completely sealed in a quartz sleeve within the carbon block and is not directly in contact with the water. It uses a wireless (inductive coupled) connection to power the lamp, much like the recharging unit for an electric toothbrush. An added feature users will appreciate: The light comes on only when water is flowing through the unit, so the treated water is not warmed by the light.

Can ultraviolet light make the water radioactive?
No.
While the water in the eSpring Water Purifier is exposed to ultraviolet light, ultraviolet light is not radioactive. Therefore, it is impossible for the water to become radioactive.

Can I connect my Below Counter eSpring Water Purifier (100189) to my refrigerator's icemaker?
Yes.
You'll need to purchase the eSpring Icemaker/Refrigerator Hookup Kit (101398). This kit includes includes a pressure regulator and all the fittings you'll need to connect your eSpring Water Purifier to your refrigerator's icemaker, except for pressurized 1/4 inch (6 mm) OD tubing, available from almost any local plumbing supply or hardware store. Determine the length of tubing you'll need, and choose the type of material you prefer. Choices include copper, pressurized polyethylene, and linear low-density polyethylene that is FDA- and NSF International- approved for drinking water. To maintain your warranty, all components must be installed properly, following the instructions shipped with the Kit.

I'm not mechanically inclined, so I'm not sure I could install the unit myself. How difficult is installation?
An eSpring Water Purifier is relatively simple to install. The Countertop model uses a diverter valve you simply attach to the end of your kitchen faucet; then plug the unit into an available electric outlet with a simple three-pronged plug.
