People of America may not know the name, but the Aussies sure do. Meet Damien Cripps and the Damien Cripps Band, the hottest indie group from the "Land Down Under", beautiful Australia. Damien Cripps Band is from Perth, Australia and their music is taking the local spots and internet like a tidal wave , making them a highly in demand band, sharing the stage with greats artists such as the late Billy Thorpe, George Thorogood, 1927. The sound is pure rock with so much energy, that one listen you can hear why they are quickly becoming an Aussie favorite.

Damien and the band, Michael Basham (Guitars & Vocals), Frank Celenza (Drums) and Kris Webb (Bass Guitar), have been all writing and cranking out non stop hits such as heavy guitar based "Angels in Darkness" ( which has a guest appearance from Cle from series one of Australian Idol),"Universe", and the Enviromental statement "Meltdown".

What does the future hold for The Damien Cripps Band? They are working on a CD, keeping their eyes open for the perfect recording contract, and hoping to make a trip to the United States in 2010. He says Nothing seems to fill his emptiness. But once you hear his music you know it is music that fills his emptiness. He is Monk, and up and coming musician for Munich, Germany with a sound he says is "like Kurt Cobain and Timbaland in the boxing ring" Auctionwally, a fellow Examiner, after hearing Monk said "This guy has a pretty fresh and catchy sound. It's like a cross between U2 and Franky Goes To Hollywood! I really, really like it!" One thing for sure, Monk has a sound that all Monk.

Playing in cover bands as a guitarist since 16, Monk still found he had an emptiness. That emptiness is the driving force behind him now, working towards the completion of his first CD, Damaged Music For Damaged People. This is to be released November 1, 2009 All songs are written, arranged, played, produced, mixed and mastered by Monk. "I'm never happy and it is really hard for me to call a song finished" This drive for perfectionism is so clear in every note.

Meet Dewey Wayne. Dewey grew up in Fyffe, Alabama where Sand Mountain Bluegrass music is a way of life. Dewey now living in Houston, Texas, has a remarkable story, and he is telling it well through his music. With songs like 'Here For The Music', I Call Dixie Home' and 'The Fyffe, Alabama UFO Blues', Dewey has set his life to music. He has mixed progressive country with good ol fashion Sand Mountain Bluegrass for a sound that is pure 'Dewey Wayne Band.
