Jade, Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli

Just to name a few! There are thousands of wonderful Semi-precious stones in the world. To some people, they are "just rocks", but given my choice, I would take Turquoise over a diamond any day! To me, Jaspers, agates, onyx have so much more character than say an emerald.
At Renagades Relics I offer some unique artisan Jewelry that are all handcrafted designs. There are various styles of Artisan Jewelry, but the style I carry is Wire wrapped. My pieces are made by Robisons Wire Wrapped Gemstones here in Alabama. Robison's designs are all Genuine stones, that start out rough, then are tumbled and artisticly wrapped by hand with either Sterling Silver, Gold Filled/Gold layered wire, or copper to create these one of a kind pieces! They all come with a Black satin cord with lobster clasp closure and a Black velvet bag. The largest selection I have is on Blujay...won't you check them out?

Cleansing Your Stone

I believe that the stone picks you, not the other way around. Whenever you look at a stone, do you feel drawn towards one more than the others? That's the stone talking to you! And since each stone has properties that are calling to you, I cleanse every one before shipping. I use sage to remove all negative engeries the stone may have picked up and to renew and strengthen the stones properties. Some may call it blessing the stone.

GEMSTONES

For centuries people believed that having one stone or another could give them insight, peace, courage and heal them of many ailments. To this day stones are used by many cultures and religions for various reasons. Here are some Gemstones and their Meanings...I will be adding to this as time permits so please check back often!

On of my favorite necklaces was given to me by a good friend who is half Native American. It has 14 stones on each side and is turquoise. She said that the number 7 is important in her culture, because it represents the number of ways to know something: North, South, East West, Above like the Eagle, Below like the snake, and from within. I love that it has a story, AND it's my favorite color.

This is a great, and informational lense. Five stars!
