This German Renaissance Gown is a 1525 replica and is made of two pieces (Inset Sold Separately Below). The outer gown is velveteen fully-lined in satin. The inset is also velveteen. The inset is worn over the Classic chemise (Sold Seperately) and is reversible to black inset. The outer gown is then worn over the inset and chemise. The gown laces up the front "V," where the inset shows through. The forearms lace up to the elbows and the upper parts of the sleeves have small elastic pieces for a snug comfortable fit.

This is a beautifully made black velvet cloak with satin lining. If you are serious about wearing a high quality cloak for more than just Halloween, this is the one I would recommend.

However, with that said, the cloak does measure 62 inches long from the nape of neck to bottom hem, What this means is that the cloak will be dragging on the ground if you are under 6 foot like it shows in the photo. If you are short (under 5' 5") and do not want to deal with alterations, then I would go with a cheaper cloak that is shorter in length.
