Looking differently at Health and Wellness

Expanding our Awareness of Health, Healing and Health Care
The world of health care is MUCH broader and bigger than I ever imagined or was taught in medical school.
MRSA, a New Approach
Alternative, Nutritional Approach to treating a dangerous Infection
Besides the drug and surgery approach there are other modalities including such things as Chiropractic, Herbs, Baand ch Flower Remedies, Homeopathy, Applied Kinesiology, Energy or Vibratinal Medicine to name a few. The list goes on. We would be well served to expand our knowledge base and begin to use many of those modalities in concert to assist the Healing process in all of us.
For example, several months ago there was a stir in the news about MRSA, Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. A friend of mine wrote a blog soon after quoting a staff writer, Randal Yakey, of The Oakland Press (Oakland, CA). http://www.apsense.com/article/112504.html.
The problem with MRSA is that there is no good treatment in the pharmaceutical world. Bacteria are pretty "smart" and have figured out how to become resistant to the antibiotics used against them.
Fortunately, in the nutritional world there are other choices, without the side effects also. One that I have learned about is a combination of food substances put together in an easily taken capsule form. These substances have been shown in research articles to have effectiveness not only against bacteria, but against viruses and fungi as well! That is something that antibiotics cannot do! AND, these food substances in combination bypass all the "tricks" that the bacteria use to become resistant.
Amazing what nature has done for us!
