Warehouse Specialist (Sparks, NV)

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for issuing satellite equipment to our Satellite Technicians as well as ensuring that all unused equipment is received and entered into the system in a prompt and efficient manner. DISTRIBUTION QUALITY ASSURANCE (SPARKS)

Distribution Center in Sparks Nevada seeks dynamic, high-energy full-time, reliable Quality Assurance person for our distribution facility. The following duties/experience will be required to perform the job: 5-10 years' in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control capacity Well versed in all aspects of a distribution operation Works to provide exception and claim free delivery Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, input data into computer Communicate shortages, overages and damages to Purchasing Corrects any issues with the order prior to loading Verify part numbers, quantities and descriptions Experience verifying replenishments and put-aways in a distribution environment Ensures proper rotation of warehouse stock by monitoring code dates of racked product and incoming product Experience cycle counting and data input Competent with fork lifts and pallet jacks Ability to work independently or as part of a team Computer literate Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to work OT as needed Should be fast, accurate, and have a great attitude Willingness to eventually assume Lead/Supervisory role Physical Activities: Ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Also, may encounter various environmental conditions such as hot and cool temperatures, hazardous items, noise, and dust. Must be able to work while standing/walking on concrete floors for long periods. May also be necessary to use step ladders to perform tasks involving climbing and reaching.
