Mark Cohen's RENT Sweater & Scarf

It all began as a special customer request...

The short note asked if, by chance, we could knit a "special" design.  The customer needed a pullover sweater in maroon and light blue with a wide crew neckline trimmed with a narrow, contrasting band.

Could we please reproduce it?  She planned to wear it to a certain movie premiere.

The movie? RENT!

The special design? A reproduction of the sweater and scarf worn by "Mark Cohen" in the movie version of the ever popular Broadway show.

Since that very first order,  our original design has become a best seller.

To ensure a perfect fit,  each RENT© sweater is custom sized and knit to personal specifications.  As a result, the sweaters are not available for immediate shipment.  We do not carry any inventory.

The RENT© sweater and scarf set has been a best seller since mid 2007 but quickly jumped to first place in 2008 and completely dominates our 2009 orders.

In fact, we already have orders for January 2010, mostly for theater production companies! 

At this time, we offer monthly delivery dates.  Without any knowledge of upcoming productions, we complete orders as needed within a particular delivery window,   with no specific "due by" delivery date.

First come, first served.

Please order early if you need a sweater set for a specific rehearsal, promo or theater production date.

As previously noted, we do not carry any inventory.

Please contact us, prior to ordering, to determine if an order can be completed by your required due date.

We do require a minimum amount of turn around time which includes shipping time.  Rush orders are not always possible but given a reasonable window, we do our best to get the sweater and scarf to you in time for the performance!
