Meet Jack. Just Jack. He's an off the radar repairman. Jack fixes things that no one else can. When he's asked to recover a stolen necklace, he never dreams this will plunge him into the realm of the supernatural.

After Jack solves the mystery of The Tomb (though there is no tomb, the title was so it could follow up the work The Keep), he becomes a believer in those things that aren't spoken of, that are "other." F. Paul Wilson gives Jack a rest in real time, though not in book time. Soon after, Jack is off on a fix it in Legacies.

After Legacies, the Repairman Jack books get darker, hit closer to home and require Jack to learn new things, accept new ideas and learn more about "the otherness" that seeks to destroy the world he knows.
