This lens will explore how to lose weight, and concentrate on rapid weight loss. Rapid weight loss is not always the most healthy thing to try and accomplish, and we advise everyone to consult their doctor before engaging in any weight loss activities.

Rapid weight loss, the holy grail of weight loss! For truly rapid weight loss, it is essential to make a dramatic change in your daily routine. For those who want to know how to lose weight fast, this is our down and dirty template.

First of all, it is important to begin an excercise program. The important step here is to exercise not just once a day, but 2-3 times per day. 30 minutes of cardio work twice a day will help boost your metabolism to the point that it is burning more calories more often.

In addition to the two 30 minute cardio sessions, you should also have one 30 minute session working with resitance or weights. You can piggyback this on one of your cardio sessions, or you can break this up into three seperate workouts throughout the day.

This excercise program needs to be adhered to every day. At minimum, 5 days per week. At first it may seem difficult, but as you fall into the routine, it will become a part of your day. This is the first leg in rapid weight loss.

The second part of rapid weight loss is your calorie intake. We are not going to suggest you go on a crash diet and reduce your calories to 1,000 per day or less. That is not the most healthy way to lose weight, and is not sustainable.

Rather, we are going to address particular calorie choices and size and frequency of meals.

First thing is first. Remove all soda and juice from your diet and replace it with water. This includes diet soda as well as regular soda. Drinking more water is a healthy decision, and will also help you lose weight. Your body performs best when properly hydrated, and we are looking to boost your metabolism.

Soda and juice, for the most part, are garbage calories. Juice has some benefit, but you can get that same benefit from eating fruit. Diet soda may not have calories, but you need to remove it from your diet anyways.

Secondly, break your meals up into 5 meals for the day. Eating smaller portions more often will help reduce your hunger and will keep your metabolism on an even keel throught the day. Not only will this help you lose weight, but you will feel better as well.

Third, stop eating after dinner. If you must have a snack after dinner, make it a piece of fruit, or a vegatable. Carrots, peaches, celery, etc. No garbage calories after dinner.

Fourth, cut out all red meat. This may be tough, but eating more fish and chicken will give you the same protien with less of the bad fat. Eating fish multiple times a week will also bring you added health benefits.

Finally, speak with your doctor about your calorie intake. Have a discussion and come up with an optimum number of calories per day. This could range from 1600-2500 calories, or fall outside this range, depending on you. Start paying attention to the number of calories you are putting in your body. Split that daily calorie intake goal into five equal meals. If your target is 2500 calories a day, eat 5 meals of about 500 calories each.
