Reports have told that Samsung will be releasing an all-white version of its Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Samsung can now be considered as one of the world's leading tablet makers. Thus, it can't be denied that a lot of you out there are longing to have your very own Samsung Galaxy Tab. Well, you're very free to choose your preferred variant. There's the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1. Of course, you can pick whether you want the slate in white or black. The thing is. The White Galaxy Tab comes with a black front bezel and you can't really say that you own a pure white slate.

News

Here comes the good news. It seems that Samsung is currently working on a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. That's right! Both tablets will soon be offered in 'pure white'. The specs of both slates will most likely be the same as their black counterparts except for the fact that the new versions will be housed inside their classy snowy white form factors. This is a pretty sweet treat for those who are quite fond of the paler colors.

Anyways, we still don't know when these new variants will be made available. From what we have heard, the White variants of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus can now be availed in Vietnam. We're not sure though. Samsung didn't give any official word of confirmation. Moreover, the company didn't say anything that could somehow give us a hint that the white slates will indeed be offered throughout the globe.

As of now, the black version (or shall we say, metallic gray version) of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 can be purchased for a starting price of $499.99 while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus can be purchased for a starting price of $349.99.Someone, somewhere in Vietnam has had access to white colored versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and just before you sit up and ask, "Hey! There are already white colored versions of those tablets in the market, so what's new about these?", bear with me for a little while. These are all new models, where you will find a white bezel instead of a black bezel around the display on current white models in the market. Apart from the slight change in color on the outside, everything else within both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus do seem to be the same. There is no word on pricing or availability, so it remains to be seen whether this will cost a wee bit more because of a cosmetic change. One thing we do know is this - Vietnam's one of the places to go to if you want more information on leaked handsets and gizmos!

We've been seeing a huge shift in Android lately with carriers offering white versions of smartphones. Mainly from Samsung with their all popular and famous Galaxy S II line and recently the Galaxy Nexus. Today we have a few images of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet both the 7? and 10? model sporting the color white.

Unlike the recently leaked white Galaxy Nexus the tablets are completely white - that includes the front bezel. Looking at the photos they actually look pretty decent and I wouldn't mind owning one myself. Hopefully Apple doesn't come after them for the color - but I don't think you can patent a color (jokes) although that top picture does remind me of an iPad.
Originally the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? was launched with both white and black versions but this was only the part on the rear of the device. Now the entire front and bezel has been given the white-out treatment. No details on when these might come to the states or if they are different models has been mentioned. For now they've just been seen a few times in Vietnam according to our tipsters.
