Are Lizards more popular then snakes?

Maybe something to consider before the bedroom makeover begins...

Ofcause there are lots of different reptiles to choose from and you may like to have a selection or lizards snakes tortoises etc in your bedroom design. But the question today is......Are Lizards more popular than Snakes?

Lizards can be really funky, cute and colourful.... but snakes do have a certain smooth curviness about them that lends itself well to wiggly lines and spirals. Everyone recognises snakes!

So what is it to be........ the lizards or the snakes? Or will they both come out equally matched.

but what about real reptiles!!!!

Maybe they yearn to have real reptiles? This may or may not be a practical option and lots of research needs to be done before embarking on buying any pet of any kind, but they could get to meet real reptiles and learn about them by having a reptile party. Reptile parties are really fun (and educational to ofcause) where experienced reptile handlers bring a selection of creatures from tortoises snakes, bearded dragons, bosc's monitors etc etc to your home or a hired hall. They can tell you lots of interesting facts about the animals and activly encouraged the youngsters/adults to experience a supervised 'Hands on' session! Kids and grown up kids alike enjoy Reptile Parties! There are some useful links below which should help you to learn about reptiles and also show you how you could have a reptile party of your own!

    Nothing beats the real thing. If your kids are old enough and mature enough then consider enhancing the "effect" with live reptiles. There are several benefits to small snakes for children over large ones, not the least of which is safety.

    There are a few really good lizards for beginners if the kids are partial to them.
