IMPROVEMENTS
Jun Takeuchi, the game's producer revealed that Resident Evil 5 offers players with improvements that will enhance the gaming experience. Environment and lighting will play a big factor within the gaming experience. The main character's eyes will have to adjust to both bright lights and darkness, as the trailer reveals. This will cause the player to lose some sight for a brief moment, therefore, enhancing the surprise element. Add it up with unexpected attacks from shadowy corners and tricky angles, the player will always be in anticipation for the next kill. Resident Evil 5 also features new types of enemies. They are now faster and more intelligent than their predecessor, and may even carry a melee of weapons. In response, main characters are also given an array of weaponry to choose from, supplementing the handgun and shot gun.

Resident Evil 5 for sale on early March is the perfect new addition to your gaming library. It uses XBOX 360's online capabilities by featuring an on-line co-op mode where 2 players can play the main game. Players can leave the game at any point and can also go separate ways at some parts of the game. There is also an offline co-op mode where two local players can play the game in a split-screen.

PLOT
Resident Evil 5 can be considered as an actual sequel to Resident Evil 4. Gamers will assume the character of Chris Redfield, member of STARS (Special Tactics and Rescue Service). It explores Redfield's experience during the ten year interval between the two games. He is on a mission on a hot, dusty desert, investigating an incident of viral infections. Chris Redfield will have a partner, Sheva Alomar, an African agent adept in fire-arms and hand-to-hand combat. Sheva will assist Redfield in the game, gunning down infected enemies and supplying ammo.

CONTROVERSIES
Some controversies arose during the early preview of the game. Some reacted to how the Caucasian main character where gunning down black antagonists, relating the action to racism. Developers defended Resident Evil 5, saying that the game is purely for entertainment. Racism and other socio-political issues are not involved with the production of the game. It was also pointed out that various nationalities are also involved among the protagonist cast, with Sheva Alomar as the leading example.
