Coventry Woods Residence

Throughout this fully custom home are details unique to the home owners. Intense detailing is evident in the ash cabinetry and flooring through the home. Horizontal banding is reinforced in the walnut inlay and routed doors. Sensations of closure and openness were controlled using custom woodwork, careful lighting, color and material textures.

Terrace Park Residence

A top to bottom addition and renovation transformed a 1950's ranch into a 21st century residence with first floor master suite. Cherry floors exude warmth, a light filled great room, 2 story entry and arch top windows add elegance and grandeur.

Tudor Transformation

Located on generous acreage in Wyoming, the views were spectacular, but the home left much to be desired. Our design recreates the character one would expect to find in a historic Tudor home, while developing a warm contemporary interior. With two small additions, and some changes to the roof framing, the home was completely transformed. In the process, each room was redesigned spatially to eliminate the boxy, tract home feel. The Master Bedroom was relocated to optimize privacy and to maximize the views of the wooded lot. A skylit Amish-built kitchen and an octagonal Breakfast Bay were added, as well as 4 1/2 bathrooms and a first floor Guest Suite.

Independent Living Apartments

Renovation of Senior Housing

The original apartments had become dated and unattractive. Maple Knoll Village residents requested a new two-bedroom unit as a more appropriate lifestyle fit. The renovations have included careful reconfiguration of the space, combining two or three adjacent apartments into larger apartments. New kitchen cabinetry and larger, more maneuverable bathrooms make these spaces more friendly and functional, as well as bring them into compliance with current building codes. Entries are enlarged into foyers, a separate dining room space is provided, a breakfast bar added and ample closet space is accorded in each of the new units.
